Triang were the toys of my younger years. I was lucky to have my favourite Aunt working for Triang in Margate. The coach was an outstanding restoration of a classic toy. Well done

Bet that was fantastic as a kid having your Aunt working at the Triang factory, I believe the factory was in Margate 1919 - 1971 - correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks and all the best

I grew up in Dorking in the late 70s / early 80s and I remember the green busses.

Hi there I'm John I'm from East London I just want to say that you are very skilled in what you do I wouldn't have a first idea about what to do about remaking the model like that it is amazing absolutely well done I'm I would say I've got a green Line bus that I brought a while back I think from a car boot sale it's a dinky bus I wish I knew how to do it I mean it's not as complicated as the model you're doing now it's just again it's a single decker green Line bus it has got a mechanism where the doors meant to open it did work at some point but well put it this way when I when I got the bus it was working and for some reason it's not working now but yeah the models you do absolutely amazing

Beautiful restoration. Only the wooden seats should hae got some refreshing with linseed oil. or similars.

Hi did have some Renaissance Wood Wax and Polish on the brush. But linseed oil a good call Thanks Rich.

Spring broke due to the rust remover..it took the temper out of the spring..

@@recollectable4258 I was a plumber for 33 yrs before I retired...if homeowners used Drano or other chemicals to try and clear their drains, we couldn't use our drain snakes for the same reason, they would lose temper and snap off in the pipes

I had decent results years back, soaking a very rusty Meccano clockwork motor overnight in paraffin but I don't know if the experts would recommend this?
