Hi Jim, As always an awesome video. Jim, I have a 2020 Kia Forte LXS. I hit my brakes at a stop sign today. The Forward Collision Warning Came on. ( For no reason that I know of.) A few minutes later it went off and went away. Does that mean anything? Am I going to start having problems with my warning lights or brakes or anything on my car? Thanks for everything. Hi Thomas If it happens again you may want to check it out. If no maybe the collision avoidance may have just sense something fly by the sensor.

I have a 2019 Elantra & it just started out of nowhere BCW going on & off like crazy over my digital speedometer. I washed the car & don’t see anything covering any sensors. I even tried to turn it off in the settings & it still turns on off like crazy. Any thoughts?

It sounds like you will need to connect the car to a diagnostic computer to check all the sensors.

I would recommend that you check all the brake lights including the 3rd light.

Not so easy fix when it has nothing to do with weather or snow or rain or anything like that. I have a 2021 Elantra. The Check forward light has been on now for over two weeks! Won't go off for any reason and can't be reset through the Driver Assistance.

I just fixed mine. I too have a 2021 Elantra. The dealership said it wasn't covered under the warranty which was a lie. I called corporate and reported them. They wanted more than 800 dollars to disconnect the negative side of the battery, wait one or two minutes, then reconnect the battery. Start your car and see if it went off. My guess is it did.
