One of my favorite "kitbash" ships in STO is a Miranda class with Centaur class pylons. The increased wingspan gives the ship a 'space hot rod' vibe that I really like. An old ship rebuilt into a stylish cruiser.

Fascinating seeing more of the triangulum timeline worked out. Ship design looks based on the Columbia class but STO doesn't quite have a ton to work with, at least some ships have more options than others. Still people can create some interesting designs and its nice seeing one having a backstory.

10:00 written before reaching any point that might be there in video later on Depending on the classes optimum cruise and maximum speeds…the size, prestige and crew compliment of this ship would seem to lend itself to a comfortable life of service as a diplomatic courier ship? Presumeably able to be retrofit with any later discovered or created advancements in armour and shielding, if not “big flashy front line ships” were available, this ship would seem the perfect vessel to act as a ship to shuttle/ferry diplomats on longer distances and journeys within federation borders - obviously trips to borderland areas or outside into other government’s territories would necessitate larger ships such as later introduction of the galaxy class and its joint “battleship” and “luxury liner” reputations I for example could easily see many diplomats such as for example sarek needing to go from earth to Vulcan, feeling this ship class being perfectly adequate for the duty, rather than illogically using the time and resources of a larger flagship

The only nitpick I've got is the class name... I can't see a ship created for celebration being called Avenger. I feel it would be called Federation class, Starfleet class, Sesquicentennial class, or even Celebration class. It just doesn't feel (to me) like Avenger would be appropriate. Your creativity never ceases to amaze. Thank you for putting these narratives together for us.

8:15 even in the newest time.I’ve of series from discovery and such…has there actually been an “enterprise class”? I mean, you’d think with the historical importance each ship of that name was in federation and starfleet history, you’d think they’d have coined a class after the lineage by now… Please note, this isn’t a complaint or nitpick in any way…I am not up to date on the newer series as a friend I committed to watching it all with for the first time has been in long term isolation due to chemotherapy, and the lingering fears of the plague have resulted in us not having the ability to sit and watch together, and I have abstained until we can again…so I a, aware that my query might well have a well known answer…

Im sorry but you've misunderstood... These ships are not the ONLY ships carrying people around... But like the Titanic (without the disaster) or the Queen Mary etc These were special ships to augment the fleet during that time! Thus 10 is MORE then enough!

I don't think that older ships just get "retired." First, they get rotated into lesser roles such as supply and Federation core systems patrol routes. After that, some ships may even be repurposed for civilian roles. In the real world, after WWII many P.T. boats became yachts and fishing vessels, and one became Jacques Cousteau's main exploration vessel.

@TriAngulumStudiosAudioComics I think there's a tier system. Obviously, some ships can only ever be used for the roles that they were designed for, especially massive ships like the Galaxy class. Using the larger ships for patrol isn't practical, but Intrepid class maybe? The problem with "canon" is that the scope of what has been shown is very limited. We tend to only see important hero ships and very little of the day to day functions of the Federation core systems.

That isn't actually true at all... I keep a tally of successes to failures video... Less then 1% are out right failures, while only about 25% have issues that need to be resolved before making them a complete success... Seems you are suffering fromhuman nature, remembering only what is bad :P

In order to maintain proper shift rotations, you need three times the number of crew members required to "operate" the ship. So, a standard crew of 69...

Well the bulk of what I do IS Alpha and Beta Canon lore (96%) So im not sure why you are complaining... I always declare when its fan fiction, so no worries, you'll know! And I guess these comments prove the old adage, "You just cant please everyone!" Lol But again as my recent poll shows, 84% of my fan base love these stories with an additional 10% thinking they are ok, 5% Not having an opinion and only 1% disliking them... So ill be sticking with the majority as it should be :)

I can understand not wanting fanfic videos, but at the end of the day canon has only provided so much for the page runner to work with, even Beta canon sources such as books and video games contradict each other, Destiny series books say one thing but STO says another etc etc. This page like so many other Star Trek youtube pages like it are simply running out of Alpha canon and even Beta canon topics to talk about so you kind of need to give them a pass when they have been running a page for years and have already gone over everything canon.

Since Beta Canon lists the Avenger as the last NX Class to be launched, that made far sense then a ship launched in the middle of the classes run! Since after all, the story was about the NX Class, not NASAs shuttles! :)
