Thank you so very much for this video. I really needed a tutorial for this technique and there are very few people who have taken the time to do this. I really appreciate you took the time to teach and explain everything so well.

👍🏻 thanks. How can I make the shape of the natural feather stay and doesn't be changed if touched or by air ?

I’m not sure that you can. It’s a fragile art form.

Hi Group...i want to add feathers to a necklace with beads im making...now its not awfull to tuck the quill of feather into a bead. The feather is in the back of bead but the feather or feathers would be lying next or on top the wearers clothing... how do u preserve the feather so its not gonna get all crummy in short order but not make the feather too stiff 😮 thanks!!!
@KorysArtCafe16 күн бұрын
There’s really no way to do that, that’ll last. They are very tough and sturdy though. I would just make the jewelry, and not worry about it. 😉 You’re wearers will want that natural feel of the feathers.

What’s the glue you used called ? And where did you buy it? Thank you in advanced! ❤
@KorysArtCafe2 ай бұрын
I just used mod podge matte. It’s in most craft stores. You can use whatever you have on hand. ☺️ Just make sure it dries clear.

Hi i have a question are jewelery thats use with actual animal feathers are they cleaned before installed ?? Because I've seen people sell it with real roster feathers but online it says animal feathers may have parasites in them
@KorysArtCafe21 күн бұрын
Hi. It depends on where you get them but it’s good to always be careful. Store bought are probably safer, but there’s no guarantees on any of them.

is there a way to treat the feathers so they dont split from wear?
@KorysArtCafe3 жыл бұрын
Not that I know of. Even if you tried to seal them, they’re going to split apart eventually. I would think sooner rather than later too. Unfortunately, it would be wasted work.

I’ll be sure to put a video out on this very soon. Once I get the new video up, I’m going to take this one down. Thx again for calling my attention to this. 🤗
