She was very right about being hungry after. I don’t eat fast food anymore. Maybe once a year. But every time I’d eat it I’d be hungry not long after. Minimal nutrition if any

@@rumham7466 Added sugar will make you more quickly hungry after eating. McDonalds and all other fast food chains add sugar into their breads AND meats to subtly make you more addicted and hungrier sooner. My favorite was when an Irish court ruled Subway couldn't legally classify their "bread" as bread, because the sugar content exceeded what they considered to be actual bread.

@@exnihilo207 Fruits, grains, vegetables, legumes, nuts, and seeds all have carbs. A carb is anything that will end up as sugar in the body. That includes sugar, and starch. It makes no difference where the carbs come from. I'm saying this not to encourage you to eat whatever you want, but to stop eating the foods I listed.

Honestly I'd rather have any of these women's homemade curries and roti and rice than McDonald's. It has become too expensive for what it is. Although a Big Mac is one of those things you get a craving for every once in a while. You get one, you eat it, and you're good for another year or 2.

What one lady said about how she needs roti to feel full, my parents used to say the same thing about how no matter how much they eat burgers (or other foods), their don’t feel as though they’ve eaten unless they’ve have rice (we’re from rice eating culture.

Roti, rice, and a tomato-based, curried lamb... you can never go wrong. Afghan food is so simple to make... and that's what makes it so awesome! I don't know what country they are from, but the region has some pretty similar dishes, with some differences between villages and tribes. It's all nothing complex, while being incredible food that will fill you up.

They have mentioned buying their meats from the butcher with the flies and no refrigeration. They have no concept of using different utensils and cutting boards to process Chicken vs red meat. 60% of people living in these countries do not have access to clean water.

I have to remove that middle piece of bread before I can eat it, otherwise it just has too much bread taste..takes away from the meat. Also, their fries aren't very good, burnt at the ends and those artificial onions keep falling out. The cost for this meal would be around $6.00 USA. ALL YOU LADIES ARE LOVELY.

What I've learned so far watching these videos, is that between curiosity and courtesy, they really try and genuinely want to like these strange foods from far away. These are no easy or simple customers though. Someone in their house probably spends an hour or more every day to prepare rice, homemade roti, some meat(usually), vegetable and some sophisticated spicy sauce that we would probably label as 'curry'. I'm curious though. Just because they may say that something is delicious. I doubt that they would want to eat it too often.

We really do not eat it for just fun, we call it breakfast, lunch and dinner depending. When the first foods started they where a treat when I was a kid ( now 72) but today small, fast "restaurants" feeding the families.
