Pancakes are meant to go with something salty or savory on the side, like bacon or sausage. Please explain to them that real maple syrup is concentrated from the sap of some maple trees, naturally sweet. Aunt Jemima's and other things labeled "pancake syrup" are corn syrup sweetener with some flavor chemicals mixed in. If they have a chance to try real maple syrup from maple trees, they should try it. The flavor is much better and it's not just sugary.

Maple syrup is made from the blood of Maple trees 🌳 45-50 gallons of sap (blood) boils down to make 1 gallon of syrup. We get $100 per gallon for syrup....and there is a 3-5 year waiting list, on "most" orders. We do not sell to...or from "Stores". Glad to be of council.

The MAPLE SYRUP is made from the SAP of very special SUGAR MAPLE trees which grow in the north. It is very EXPENSIVE to buy. We usually eat pancakes in winter....called pancakes because cooked in frying PAN with small amount of oil. Please tell them WE UNDERSTAND EATING WITH FINGERS....NO PROBLEM!!!👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Yeah, she's not wrong. We pretty much only eat pancakes for breakfast... As to some of the others who say it's really sweet / sugary, well, we typically have the syrup(s) on the side, so people can add as much or as little as they want. Some people like it soaked in sugar, some people like just a little bit for flavor and a hint of sweetness, but not overpoweringly so...

You need to give them tea to have with all their taste tests. As well, pancakes are wonderful with lots of real butter melted on the pancakes, then soft, moist brown sugar sprinkled on top, then squeezed lemon juice. Served one at a time. All done to personal taste, so they can perfect the brown sugar and lemon to their own likes.

This is the second "try" video that has served pancakes with syrup that is *not* maple syrup, but the tasters are told it is maple syrup. It just isn't true, and at some point, hopefully a correction is made. The "pancake syrup" that you see in the stores, and probably what you see sold around the world, such as Aunt Jemima, are really corn syrup. Real maple syrup is the syrup that comes from the maple tree, i.e. tree sap. Then the sap goes through a process where the maple syrup is then bottled and sold. The real maple syrup is not "sugar syrup", it is naturally sweet. It is also much more expensive than pancake syrup. Too bad the video had the opportunity to not only serve real maple syrup (yes it is pricey), but also tell the ladies where the syrup comes from.

Forks are allowed but very desi (like very pakistani) people like my father avoid fork and knife to eat pancakes or steaks etc... They find it hard to use as desi dishes dont require any spoon or fork just hand, so instead they only use spoon whether it's a steak or a soup lol 😅.. We live in a city and they are villagers, you can now get an idea of why they are avoiding it.

I would love to see them try my favorite breakfast - French toast. If you do, please make the one w/ beaten egg, milk or cream, a bit of vanilla with thick sliced bread, then cinnamon & sugar mixed together & sprinkled on each side, served w/ strawberries either macerated in sugar in a fridge (then warmed b4 serving), or cooked w/ something like bourbon or other alcohol, just enough to heat & activate the natural sugars in them, do not brown. & serve these lovely ladies w/ some masala chai tea, preferably, Wagh Bakari. Have the men try as well.

I can't remember the last time I was forced to eat pancakes with nothing but a spoon, I would guess it was when I was a wee-tot sitting in a highchair after my mum had tie a bib then butter and added syrup then cut-up the pancakes for me to eat. You should have given these ladies a heads up on how to eat pancakes and served them at least a hot cup of tea to go with the pancake meal.

Canadian here...if the syrup they put on those pancakes was the same as they gave the men, which was Aunt Jemima brand, that is most definitely NOT "maple" syrup. It's just known as- wait for it- "pancake syrup", or also known as "table syrup". Glad they liked them. There are entire restaurants in N. America devoted to pancakes and other breakfast foods like waffles and french toast, eggs, omelettes, etc. The guys waxed poetic over their delight with pancakes, but as usual, the women are more discerning.😉😄

A Rhaki has different colouring, different weight and much younger, but at certain camera angles, I think her face shape is similar to Anne Margret. You might have to look for a few earlier shots, at certain angles, Anne Margret is quite elderly, now, but at times, A Rhaki has similar facial planes, that sometimes suddenly make me think of Anne Margret.
