Each gentlemen takes a great deal of interest in the food they are given. They don’t just pick up the cutlery and start eating. They consider the look, smell and taste of it, before listing the ingredients. We have much to lean from them here in the West, where fast food is named as such for the way it’s attained and consumed. Mindfulness is a way of life for them. I love this channel. It’s so wholesome and shows that social media can be kind. 😊❤
@JMarieCAlove
@JMarieCAlove Жыл бұрын
We don’t need to learn so much from them in the West since a lot of people do eat healthy and do appreciate what they have or given. People don’t live off of fast food daily but a lot of the fast food companies actually have healthy, vegan, organic and gluten free foods, for people who don’t want a burger or anything fried. Every time someone watches there video’s and these gentlemen trying a new food for the first time, they are just amazed how it tastes and appreciates it, that’s all. It’s not a life lesson. The West already knows how to appreciate, respect, be thankful and grateful. It’s sad that people who watch their videos have to criticize and bash the U.S. or all of the western countries, even though the people commenting are from the U.S., I guess half of the American people can’t see how people are thankful for what they have or given., we don’t need any lessons but if you think the west does, go out there and teach everyone us how we should be in life. I’m sure we’ll learn so much! 🤦🏻‍♀️

@@JMarieCAlove mindful eating is not common in the usa sorry but no. If you actually had learned anything or bothered to try you would know there are statistics on how people eat in the usa ..at the tv on the sofa grabbing something quick in a wrapper on the go etc. Mindful eating is a level above again and something even most western religious do not do. They say a quick Grace and sit at a table together if you are lucky. But even that is much more rare these days. The increase in fast food take away is enormous. So yes you could certainly learn a lot just use google to inform yourself on the subject rather than demand somone comes to teach you. Youre perfectly able to spout your ire and opinions, so why not use that to learn something. Most especially what mindful eating actually is. 😂

I was stationed at Fort Lewis in the mid-90's. A couple of guys from the barracks I lived in went salmon fishing one morning. That afternoon, when I was at my workplace, I was told there was a barracks meeting and the First Sergeant was mad. I knew it had to do with the fish. The First Sergeant was doing their barracks inspection when they came across a garbage can filled with ice and a nice freshly caught salmon in the ice. "Who is keeping a dead fish in MY BARRACKS?" Of course, the First Sergeant was aware of who did it, but the perpetrators had to confess. They were ordered to never do something like that again, but were also told to save some because the First Sergeant wanted some of the fish.

I love to cook (and eat) and I guess my husband and I would probably be considered "foodies" - if that term is even used anymore. 😂 We've dined in some very high-end restaurants as well as some amazing "hole-in-the-wall" diners and everywhere in between. But I don't think I've ever heard of or seen a sauce for salmon or any other fish or seafood dishes in general, that has corn in it! So, of course, I had to look into it and did a little online investigation and lo and behold, I found that corn and cream based sauces for fish are very popular in Asian and Mexican cuisine. It might be in others as well, but I just did a quick search. Now, I'm definitely going to have to try at least a couple of the recipes I found! I'm actually glad that it's Friday because we tend to do more of our "experimental cooking " on the weekends! Great reaction as always, guys! Much love and abundant blessings to the TPT family! 💛🕊🙏🏻

Oily fish like salmon actually helps to lower blood pressure. Fish with high mercury levels will raise blood pressure. I wonder what the local fish is.

Actually, it's larger predatory fish such as salmon and, tuna, that contain higher mercury levels as it is an accumulative effect and throughout their lifespan they eat more and more smaller fish. They're small local River fish will have very little or no Mercury.

I’m glad to see them all enjoying my favorite seafood, especially Mr. Chaudhary, who has not had the best experiences with seafood. And Rana: “I love you, Salmon.” ❤️ Occasionally, I’ll have tartar sauce with salmon, but having grown up in the Pacific Northwest of the US (with the best varieties of salmon easily available), I learned at a young age that a decent piece of salmon needs no sauces or seasonings. It stands well enough on its own. Sometimes a light sprinkle of dill weed, or a little butter. Last week, I put away the big charcoal grill for the winter, but its final use of this year was a large Copper River Salmon (the best of the best) I’d been saving. Grilled and eaten bare. 😋
