When they showed the menu board, it said 2700 for the platter, and if that means Pakistani Rupees, then that huge platter of food only cost them $9.72. That would probably cost around $30 in the USA.

Love these episodes, great content! I would recommend that if you are going to try and help advertise these local Pakistani businesses, maybe somewhere at the beginning or end show the name of the restaurant and the address so that other people can find it and enjoy it as well.

Yummy.Both wheat and quail are plentiful in Texas and the birds and their eggs are favored by chefs.Cold weather here brings the season to make chile con carne.I have just learned that the roast chestnuts famous from a holiday song were eaten as a seasonal treat this time of year because they were harvested late and do not keep a long time.

one of the best things about America, is that we can afford to have foods imported from all over the world, and we have such a diverse culture from immigrants that we have restaurants of so many nationalities. We can try worldwide cuisine any time we wish, this is why America is called the Melting Pot. All cultures melting together in one country. Food is a universal love language. It is also a great teacher. If you want to learn about a culture, start with the food. "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness" - Mark Twain Hatred and bigotry are born from fear of the unknown. When you learn about a culture, it's people, it's food, it's way of life, there is no more unknown, and no hatred. People are so quick to judge others based on their region, religion, lifestyle, before getting to know them. Always continue to spread love and respect to fellow people, and you will be returned it in abundance.

They are demonstrating an eating technique I never noticed: use a bit o' nan (roti?) as a 'hand tray' and load it with the other hand's selection. Then, either eat that bit or perhaps roll up even more as a food-roll to bite into. This must be an eating tool used throughout human history. The invention of roti, or tacos, hotdog buns, etc. ha ha

​@@bitfenix90 This is their traditional way of eating. They use their hands and some are type of flatbread like naan, paratha, roti etc. as a kind of scoop and wrapper at the same time. There are several other cultures that eat in this manner or something very similar to it. I know that many parts of Africa, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia are a few. 😊

But it never occurred to me that mayb fingerful's of food would be 'stored' on each flat-bread, and it would be used to soak up 2-3-5 mouthfuls - or more - so the naan would 'accumulate' different flavors. That's what occurred to me - "He's not eating the naan - just using it was a 'sauce catcher', over and over.
