It will be an additional talking point for more and varied content for the channel, and most importantly, will help the gents learn something new like they obviously enjoy. Omgoodness. The Skin IS the food part! When consuming Fat and Proteins, do not remove the extremely flavorful fat and collagen part! I prepare three roasted, Basted thighs; so having crispy seasoned skins & fatty bits with one thigh, and the other two 'bald' ones in a chicken salad or something next day. I cannot buy 'bald' half pieces. Get your monies worth. 😊

You should get them to try some South African food. Lots of both Malaysian and Indian influenced foods, which may provide some level of familiarity, along with lots of foods influenced by other cultures and countries, which will provide some novelty. I'd suggest bunny chow, bobotie, waterblommetjie bredie, boerewors, koeksisters and melktert (milk tart)

Usually one person gets two pieces of chicken,potatoes and gravy and a side vegetable.Eating a whole plate would be excessive. lol. It's usually made with whole pieces of a cut up chicken but boneless,skinless pieces can be used.If you don't have buttermilk thin some yoghurt with milk till it is a little liquid,mix in salt,black pepper,minced onion and garlic and some hot sauce or ground dried chiles .Soak the chicken pieces overnight or at least several hours.Mix up flour of some sort, salt, black pepper and whatever spices seem good to you.Pick out the chicken and gently shake off any excess marinade,leaving the meat wet but not dripping,roll in the seasoned flour and deep fry in preheated oil until browned and the meat when poked with a fork or knife tip is tender. .The marinade shouldn't be used for anything unless it is cooked because of the chicken blood but animals would probably eat it and be OK.

1:35 - THANK YOU! I’ve been saying that most of my life! I don't understand why people have to put ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, sauce, etc on everything. It overpowers the food and ruins it, in my opinion. All you taste is the condiments (sauces)! For some food like chicken wings, it's good coating them in a sauce yes, but so many other things like hamburgers are ruined by it, to me

Fried chicken isn’t a Jamaican dish, it’s generally considered a southern American dish. Jerk chicken, aki and salt fish, oxtail and bully beef, and beef patty. These are Jamaican dishes. Not criticizing just informing, love the channel.

Have they never heard of Jamaica before? Lol I mean.. granted.. not many people other than Jamaicans care about Jamaica lol. But they're still known amongst the "western world" as an independent nation and should be AT LEAST as well known as Cuba lol. The problem is.. I feel like sometimes when you tell these guys they're eating food from X country.. they have NO IDEA where that country is. They've never heard of it before, couldn't locate it on a map, etc. You COULD give each country a little bit of love and respect by telling the guys a little about it. For example, Jamaica is famous for REGGAE MUSIC. It's where Bob Marley is from. Also, they LOVE marijuana like it's going out of style and outside of tourist spots on the island there's way too much violence. If you're thinking it's supposed to be jerk chicken, then you must not understand that Jamaicans have several ways of preparing chicken. Just look online and you'll find many recipes for a simple Jamaican fried chicken. It's about the marinade and seasonings they use, not just the method of preparation.

Jerk chicken isn't the only way Jamaicans fry chicken. If you look online, you'll find many, many recipes for simple Jamaican fried chicken. It's more about the spices used to marinate and season the meat.

@@annainspain5176 Ecxactly. They all do. If some of these folks who comment would do a little research, they'd learn that the word ketchup can be used for all kinds of sauces in different cultures. It's historically been used for sauces that have some kind of vinegar in them. There's mushroom ketchup, walnut ketchup, tomato ketchup, etc. Judging by the thinner consistancy of what they had today, it was probably chili garlic sauce. They use it as much as they use ketchup.
