Got to say I prefer the tried and tested format, and why a countdown clock? Especially when Randy's time is blended in underneath - just confusing. When you are "solo" - there is often more interaction with the locals. Turning up with a crew is bound to affect that in a negative way and the banter with them is not a positive.

It affects it in a positive way in that it allows two cameras to be moved through time and space by cam ops to capture footage…rather than relying on a fixed action camera mounted on a table and hoping that what happens is captured in its field of view.
