You should go to any place near you that sells fresh pineapple and ask for their trashed pineapple, it should contain the crowns. Replant them split in half from top to bottom to get 2 out of 1. They definitely love the sun. You guys should react to a video of modern day permaculture. Maybe it isnpires you guys to grow free food!

pineapple juice is great for the stomach helps fight off parasites as well. Bromelainfound in pineapple is also great for breaking down protein foods, which makes it great for fighting intestinal parasites as it can kill worms. Regular consumption of pineapple can make your immune system healthier and help it to fight and eliminate parasites.

@@suesullivan-miller887 Why not? It grows in Hawaii, which is also quite hot. It would certainly be worth a shot to try growing it. There's videos on KZbin for "rooting" Pineapple tops, which can then be planted. I suspect it would grow fine as long as it's watered? Assuming no other issues like winter frosts damaging git or something. I don't know all the intricacies of pineapple growing? Though I know it's a Bromeliad and grows like a plant with a single stalk which then develops the fruit. I suspect, if nothing else, it could be grown indoors in a pot, or something. Or potted, grown outdoors during the summer, and brought inside in the winter, if winter cold would kill it?

@@MGmirkin My understanding is that Pineapple needs high humidity and moderate heat/sun. There, summers are dry and well above 100°f for about 6 months. Then, (as is happening Now) come the torrential rains for months with no cease....mildew and mold literally develop overnight with a proliferation of slugs, plant worms, and snails....as well as flooding. Next is cool season, in the 60s and 70s F. The difference in weather between Hawaii or Latin America and Pakistan is severe. Also watering of crops is almost totally done by hand; these village people have No access to running water. Or the insecticides necessary...no green houses to moderate temps or humidity the plants. I lived there years ago; hence can speak about the weather/temp. issues.

seriusly, is that difficult for those people to get pineaples, its like a soil problem, or maybe climate problem, or maybe these people are blind and they dont see a big potencial bussiness with this fruit in their country, just imagine a new frut and there is so manay receipts with pineaples they can make, but you need to get access to land before to start dreaming.

Yes, any time shipping is involved, the end (delivered) cost is higher. There is no such thing really as "free shipping". Someone is footing the bill. And, even in the US, where pineapple is produced in one of our states, it can be expensive and out of reach to those on limited or fixed income.
