Tribal Wars : Cancel Sniping

Hey guys, in the video me and Quinn teach you how to cancel snipe. This is something that's extremely important to learn to save villages that are in a pinch. Enjoy! and have fun killing those nobles! :D

Sometimes you dont have all that time tot do all that math when its so so simple The moment there are exactly 10:00:000 untill atack u click launch,and cancel exactly when its 5:00:000 remaining. This way,if the ms is not right in first atempt ,you cancel the comand and lauch again at 9:30:000(than you cancel at half , 4:45) 3rd atemp is launch 9:00:000 cancel 4:30:000... Etc etc etc So simple

Easier way. You have 19 mins of play time i.e when the incoming train hits in 19 mins or less. You send your attack on a barb when the incoming train hits a 30 second mark i.e the train is hitting in 19:00 mins or 14:30 mins. You then check the ms to see if it will land. You then have 30 seconds to calculate the cancel time. This is simple: If you sent the attack at 10:00 mins then its 10:00 / 2 = 5 mins you cancel at and so on. This way gives you about 50+ chances or something which covers for lag ;P

@@calebbrookes7896 Way more than that, theortically you can cancel on every even second, so think how many even seconds there are below 19 mins. Cancelling every 30 seconds just gives you a bit of grace time to do the maths.

how did your 9:30 time came off which you deducted from the nuke in-between landing time. If troops are send out than the time of there return must depend upon the distance the troops travel. Confused on the calculation part

general question: would you try to cancel snipe only one noble with all your troops or cut your troops in e.g. 3 to 4 groups to cancel snipe maybe three or more nobles? I know it depends on the troopcount in the village but does it also depend if it is an offensive village or a defensive one? maybe in an offensiv village only trying to cancel one noble because the defensive force is to low to cut the troops? what would you suggest? btw: looking forward to a next episode of your vlog or a next stream :D great stuff!

ALWAYS try to hit as many nobels as possible. Even if you have to def them with lkav. Imagine if you only def 1 nobel: your loyalty is in danger to get nobeled with only one more nobel and that can be done by the attackers main force. In addition nobels are especially early very expensive and if you can trade 200lkav for a noble thats always worth the trade. Remember that you only have to kill half of the attacking troops to kill the noble. In almost every case you should try to hit the 3 nobels behind the 1st one. Almost nobody splits their troops in the early to not risk a loosing 1st clear attack. In later stages of the game you may come to a point where 5-15 nobels are running on your vil with 10-20 clearing offs in front and some offs timed between the nobels to prevent sniping. In that case you can just prenobel before the 1st nobel (so the attacker nobels himself multiple times and looses all the nobels) and place a nobel (or 2 because loyalty jumps to 25 after nobeling) after his last one and noble it back....

Shoot, Im sorry I miss informed you. If you attack a barbarian village, it rolls over to 00ms BUT if you cancel the attack it does not, it goes to the MS that you sent the attack.

Watchtowers. Seems like they are on most worlds now days, and I would highly suggest them. Having one village worth of troop pop for the watchtower can save tons of villages knowing what troops to snipe

Because if you only have one village, you can still snipe an incoming train with this method. If the defending village is defensive, it also allows you to use those troops to snipe rather than sniping with offensive troops (if you had 2 villages one offensive and one defensive)

@@Marshyyy yeah I might not quite understand why you need to do it in a first place, what does it do like basics, you dodge it so it wont destroy ur units and then u immediatly come back so u strike them instead?

​@@Arcese1 When people send trains, they keep almost all of their troops in the front of the attack. You are dodging that attack and then landing troops between the weaker attacks. Less losses and you destroy nobles slowing that player down

Could mean different world settings. Check to see how long you have to cancel and then reduce the time, cut that time in half to know when to cancel
