Honestly I am shocked. Never expected the PB&J to stand the test of distance. I found it especially interesting that Rana calls the PB&J a breakfast sandwich. My dad, who was born and raised in Taiwan but has spent almost his entire adult life in the US, eats a PB&J for breakfast three or four times a week, and *never* at any other time of day. I've picked that up to some extent and have a PB&J sandwich for breakfast once or twice a week, though I think of it as an all-purpose snack.

I think all 3 looked really good. How lucky are we to live in a country with great regional differences when it comes to food?! Yes, some people use white toast for PB&J. Yes, some people use less sauce in a sloppy joe and DO in fact put cheese on them. The only authentic Philly cheesesteak can be had in Philly, and as such there are many variations (even in the city of Philadelphia). Rather than be surprised, appreciate our diversity. I think they did a great job, especially as I’m sure some of the ingredients may be difficult to get in that part of the world.

I love you guys. This makes me want to come to Pakistan and have you guys feed me samples of your country's cooking and watch my reactions 😆 ...seriously. A few more sandwiches: American burger with American cheese pickles, onion lettuce, whatever else. Peanut butter and banana on toast, thats a southern one. Grilled cheese. I know we have so many convenient foods and drinks and I praise God for that.🙏

Shredded sharp cheddar cheese is the best cheese on it. Also we started serving them on brat buns, or on hotdog buns. This works great, with very little spillage.

"How can a food be so delicious?" - Philly Cheese Steak Makes this Philly Boy wanna cry. Glad they enjoyed it. Looks like a great roll, good meat, and of course, plenty of melty cheese!

Just some notes about how these are typically eaten in the US. Sloppy Joes are typically made by home cooks or in school cafeterias. They are not something typically served in any restaurant. There are obviously a few that do but not many. Philly Cheese steaks are certainly made by home cooks but are more typically served at a restaurant. Some specialty restaurants serve primarily Cheese steaks and little else. Probably 20 cheese steaks are eaten for every one Sloppy Joe. They're somewhat expensive and not something most people could afford on a daily basis. Peanut Butter and Jelly can be eaten by anyone but it's the go to food when you're poor and have almost nothing else. Bread, Jelly and Peanut butter might be the last foods that a poor person can buy. These are sadly sometimes given to children at school cafeterias if they can't afford regular school lunch.

I love Philly cheesesteaks! I live in Ohio so Penn Station hot and straight from the grill are the best. I wished they could try them, they’re so good.

Cheese on a sloppy joe is news to me. In my 80+ years I've never heard of it.

I admit, I was surprised that they liked the PB&J. For people who have not grown up eating peanut butter they either love it or hate it. (The majority response that I've seen leans toward hate it. lol)

Why were the guys given different sized Philly cheesesteaks?
