Your description of them having opposite vibes is exactly how I feel! Imagine meeting this cute, funny, flirty, sweet, and sexy guy asking if you want some ramen - then suddenly this guy from across the street starts dog whistling, shouting “hey tits, I’m big and I’m going to make you blah blah”. Whiplash! From having butterflies in your tummy to fearing for your life. JK and Latto clicked because both did not expressly say crude words, but they used wordplay, was flirty, and cute.

Sometimes these western artist features seem SO out of place in a Kpop artists songs, but this verse felt like it really was made into the theme JK is going for. I mean, thats propably why he showed green light for this verse. But, we all have our prefrences..

Your opinion is valid! Too many fans can't stand to hear a single negative thing about anything, even if you say it respectfully. And that's why a lot of people hesitate to give their real opinion or critique.... those things are actually important for the artist to hear/see and a true artist would be open to negative feedback. How I feel about Jack's feature is how I feel about Uncle Snoop's feature in Bad Decisions - better for the song if left out lol. I like the choreo, the song sounds better to me when I see it with the choreo.

I've been hearing BTS for a long time and I always felt respected as human being and as a woman. But I'm feeling kinda weird with Jack's verse. I mean Jk was also implying some things out there but he wasn't so raw. But the beat and the song in general is really catchy 💜💜💜

Some people sometimes forget that it's NORMAL and HEALTHY to have differing opinions and tastes! For me, Jack's verse is passable and it doesn't take me out of the song's vibe too much, but I agree it does kinda have a different tone and approach to the rest of the song that can feel dissonant. Luckily for me it doesn't ruin the song, but I think you're right that a more fitting feature could have really elevated the song. Jungkook did his part so well like he always does, so it's still a banger for me.

The lyrics didnt do it for me either, for me and many others its cringey and uncomfortable to listen to. Tbh im sick of this "im a bts fan so i must like everything bts" mentality. Stream songs because you want to, buy albums because you want to, and its okay to not like something and therefore not stream or buy it. You dont have to blindly support your favourite artists. Also, you can like the song and still admit the lyrics are off etc. The internet is always so black and white with everything 🙄

I can understand why a lot of people didn't like it but I feel like some of the ARMYs on Twitter are doing way too much, even refusing to stream it just cause they didn't like his verse. I've also seen some of them misinterpret his verse for something completely outrageous (they went as far to say that he was talking about SA'ing a woman (??? 😭) but yeah it's been crazy.

It’s even more complicated but that’s the gist of what reactions have been. Army is diverse, which is usually our strength, but also sometimes unfortunately so 😅

Theyre using Jack as a scapegoat cuz they don’t wanna admit jk co-signed it and liked his verse and is going in this new direction of his own volition. Like it’s fine to not like the song but to act like it’s the most offensive thing they’ve ever heard💀😭 he even uses terms that are used negatively against women for himself (whore/loose) so it’s funny to me ppl keep screaming objectification and misogyny. Literally where?? Cuz he said he used to have multiple partners and there were some women lined up in a row?? All he’s guilty of is being corny. And idk why they would expect revolutionary philosophical lyrics from Jack Harlow of all people lmao especially in a song that is already about sex

It's my problem and I love JK, but that's not my style of music, his sound is too old school for me, the music video was amazing but Jack part it's trash, in lyrics and the video, it was more shocking and disgusting to watch his part with visuals lol I support Jk and I'm happy for him, that doesn't mean I'm here to act blindly and just ignore my feelings about something.

And if they have a problem with a song, keep it to your gcs at least the first few days, think about how you express your opinion, sns are basically highways and your tweets are like billboards loudly proclaiming your dislike of the artist you re supposed to at least like on the side of this highway for everyone to see. « I want this, i don’t want that, i wish he did this , next time he better this… » You are not their manager, producer, artistic director, friend, music critic. Music is a matter of taste and some people will like it, some people won't. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and it's silly to spend energy trying to convince people that their opinion is wrong. But let's not forget that we are here for MUSIC. Seen too many army on twitter and even here in your comments saying "If you're an army it's your job to stream the jack harlow version even if you don't like it" - if it's my job where is my salary? I am a music fan and a grown up with a real job. I stream the music that I genuinely like and for me, it's the alternate version. I think JK's parts are a BOP, but Harlow's rap is not for me. 3D is doing well regardless, it's JK. And besides, do we really think JK wants to make songs that people blindly stream just because they are his? Like any artist, he wants to make music people really genuinely love. So give some respect to JK and stop trying to bully army who prefer the alternate version.

Streaming and numbers no longer hold any meaning anymore. They're not an indication of quality or how many people actually like it, they're just an indication of how many blindly dedicated followers you have lol. Sad that it's the norm to disregard artistry in favor of numbers now. And yes, I don't think JK would want people to stream when they don't actually like it. True artists are always open to negative critique and honest opinions, they don't always just want blanket praise.

I’m on the fence with this one. I love the song, I love the justin Timberlake 2000s vibe with the splash of modern pop and rap. My issue isn’t with jacks lyrics because my boy jungkook has also been saying some very *horny* things recently 😂😂 I think it’s jacks delivery that makes it feel like the best and flow of the song is messed up. Some of jacks lyrics are a bit mental like “I got you playing with yourself on camera” like bro damn we get it y’all horny 😂😂 I can’t really say I disagree with your opinion though either because looking back at when jungkook when he became my bias in 2014, the dichotomy is crazy, but I love it tbh. All the members have been embracing their own styles and truly putting on a show of their art. I don’t think jack ruined the song, I think he fit the vibe fine, but it’s the flow and the way people are making jacks lyrics seem way more provocative on Twitter. Like people making it seem like jack was straight up reading a fanfic, like y’all it’s not that serious it’s just a vibey song 😂😂

I’m not a fan of the rap feature. Lyric and delivery wise. But that’s it tbh. That’s why I prefer the alternative version 😅

I love jk's part.. jh 1st verse is nice but 2nd I didn't vibe. Overall I kinda like the song... JK ft. RM would've been banger.

Hiya, haven't reacted to this yet, going through your BTS timeline. You keep mentioning you're on Patreon, but can't find you? What is your address pls?

tbh i got really triggered by jack’s verse, it seriously makes me sad and kinda anxious (and im not an overly sensitive person or whatever, not at all in fact), so i only listen to the alternative version - because i actually like the song, been singing it all day long and dancing. i’m not ashamed of that. also i know art is subjective - although i personally still believe in being objective about these things, like, some songs are objectively of better quality or whatever, and at the end of the day this one is probably the furthest from the music that i enjoy on the regular, i basically only listen to pop because i love bangtan like they’re my own family lol otherwise i’m so not about that life it’s crazy. annnd i don’t watch many reactors on yt but i watched about 6 people react to this song and i swear everybody’s faces just freaking fell so hard when that verse began… it makes people miserable lol no i’m not trying to speak for ‘everybody’ haha but yeah, i can’t control my negative reaction to that verse and not gonna make myself listen to it, the alternative version with nice additional adlibs is right there.

"A comment from another reaction which makes sense. "I honestly think a lot of people missed the point of the whole song anyway. Yes, it's a bit saucy lol BUT...I think the point of it was that all these girls (ABG's or otherwise) were in 2D (on the computer, on the phone, voice chat etc) and how he used to be able to pick up girls for real and hook up or whatever but now even holding hands is made to be a big deal. So, there may be a bunch of girls he's messing with in 2D (online) but as for actual fucks, he's got none (which could also be he doesn't give a fuck, i don't know for sure of course) but he's got the money and would be willing to even fly this girl here to meet in real life just to get the chance to see if there was something there. I think this is the state of modern day dating now...many, many many online "relations" but still not being with anyone in person, and I imagine it's even more that way with celebrities of their status. And I think both of them made it clear that the consent factor is covered...JK says "if you're ready, and if you'll let me..." and Jack "you don't have to guarantee me nothing..." so basically they both are saying I really like what I'm seeing but this 2D shit ain't enough...so if you're ready I want to see if we might have something for real...I really want to meet you in person in 3D."

@@pintsymu9836 most people understand the point of the song, it's not rocket science or something incredibly difficult to understand. But it's matter of preference for the style, delivery, flow, overall vibe and feeling, etc. Can we accept that music is incredibly subjective and jjust respect people's opinions and feeling about it, instead of trying to say "you just don't get it, that's why you don't like it." Like no, it's possible people get the meaning of it and still just don't like it.

@@janetuss6496this. I’m old (and still young) and experienced enough to get exactly what the song is about, but that doesn’t change the fact that jack harlows part, His wording is triggering for me. I don’t want to be told that if I understood it right, I’d like it. But I listen the clean version and sing the chorus all day. When watching the original mv I just fast forward through jacks parts bc I like the dancing in the mv so much, and I hope my views would be counted nonetheless.

@@dopaminish2099 as someone who is not triggered by the lyrics, I 100% respect and accept your feelings/opinions. Nobody has the right to tell you you're wrong for being triggered. Ppl need to accept the fact opinions about music are subjective, and not everyone likes the same thing they do. Your opinions are totally valid, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Or tell you that you didn't get the song, or that you're unable to accept that JK is a grown man. We obviously are fine with JK talking about mature topics, but not everyone has to like the way it is written. You understood the song just fine. People trying to explain it like this is Demian or some deep shit... like no, this is the most straightforward song ever, anyone over the age of 13 can understand it just fine. Keep expressing your views and don't let the mob control you.

@@janetuss6496 ofc i understand that people wouldn't like the song regardless of lyrics. I just quoted a comment that had another view of the song lyrics, which i think many didn't get the fully meaning of. Some disliked the song just because of the lyrics. Cant force anyone to like a song.

i honestly have the same opinion about jack's feature in this. at the beginning, i was like, okay, and then he kept rapping and i kept getting more and more, like, umm... okay? glad there's a version without him, although if i don't focus on what he's actually saying it's okay

ur face at "i got u playing w urself on camera" LMFAOOO but yeah like jacks verse wasnt like amazing or nothing but its the exact brand of cornyhorny i expected from him so it just made me laugh rather than made me disgusted yknow. it coulda been better but i dont think it ruined the song and at the very least he rode the beat well enough i can tune his foolishness out lmfaoo
