The Tribit actually has low-frequency distortion and a high-frequency background squeak at high volume that just many people don't notice.

I have both too , great Speaker Battle by the way. I choose the tribit for indoors for 30-40% listening and the Sony for outdoors about 60-80% volume. Overall i prefer the Sony SRS -XG 500 but its close bro

Did you notice the firmware affects the sound, no matter what EQ app you use? Cause I read in another comment section that it just helped the clear audio/megabass mode

I really only noticed a difference in the clear audio mega bass mode and it sounds much better now

In my opinion the Sony sound better till about 65 percent and then 70 percent and higher the tribit sounds more clear and the bass comes through better

@@martinalejandro6803 aparte la Sony xg y xp500 suenan mejor que una xb43 nada que ver amigo Sony es Sony y con LDAC se activa con aplicaciones como tidal, o Deezer y Sony una hermosura, si la Sony suena feo o acartonada es por el codec del teléfono ya sea que usas iPhone 📱 o Xiaomi ya que teléfonos como los Sony Xperia, LG con su serie Vy G traen opción hifi por Bluetooth y por jack 3.5 suena exelente y eso acartonado es porque el teléfono no contiene codec o es un teléfono gama baja…

Tengo un shake x70d, un xb 900n, un freelace, un ier 500 y un mhc v02 y un note 20 ultra. Iba a comprarme este xg 500 y lo compare con el xb 43 en la tienda y ambos van por ahí, pero el precio del xg 500 es el doble del xb 43 y no se justica.

Does tribit holds deep bass on lower volumes? Lets say 30 to 55 percent?

Yes tribit does good it's bass really good all the way up to about 65 percent volume then it really only increases the highs from there

good comparison!! i got same speakers! lol! like you??? i got sony xg500,new 7600 firmware, amazon refurb 169$. i use poweramp eq off phone, and i was about to get rid of sony? but after the modifications? thing rocks!! i got alot of bluetooth speakers. but everyday??? i always jam the sony and my soundcore motion boom!! i automaticlly grab thosetwo before the others..LMFAO!!!!!

I'm gonna give you fair warning... stop using the poweramp..I'm being serious..yes it seems great but it will eventually overdrive your speakers..I f..ked up like 4 speakers until I realized thats what was doing it..I thought I was having a run of bad luck..nope it was the poweramp app..its just not worth taking the chance ..just a friendly warning/advice my friend.
