This is the bonus track on the CD that comes with the Children Of The Night Box Set. I hope these guys continue to make albums of this quality. I can't stop listening to it!

I listen to a lot of black metal and a lot of goth. Hearing them intersect so neatly is amazing.

I think metal helped give birth to goth. Look at bands like Black Sabbath for instance, pretty much prototypical goth

So what do you think about that people who are into Tristania or Nightwish call this Music gothic metal? As someone who listens to Deathrock, Darkwave and Postpunk i feel offended

Check out the A Forest cover by Carpathian Forest. We need a whole album of black metal tributes to The Cure.

I love how they paid homage to The Cure here. Children of the Night is definitely EXTREMELY influenced by goth-rock, and it's sweet to see they covered this! (I'm just barely finding out they put this as a bonus track on something)

It doesn't matter if we all die Ambition in the back of a black car In a high building there is so much to do Going home time A story on the radio Something small falls out of your mouth And we laugh A prayer for something better A prayer For something better Please love me Meet my mother But the fear takes hold Creeping up the stairs in the dark Waiting for the death blow Waiting for the death blow Waiting for the death blow Stroking your hair as the patriots are shot Fighting for freedom on television Sharing the world with slaughtered pigs Have we got everything? She struggles to get away . . . The pain And the creeping feeling A little black haired girl Waiting for Saturday The death of her father pushing her Pushing her white face into the mirror Aching inside me And turn me round Just like the old days Just like the old days Just like the old days Just like the old days Caressing an old man And painting a lifeless face Just a piece of new meat in a clean room The soldiers close in under a yellow moon All shadows and deliverance Under a black flag A hundred years of blood Crimson The ribbon tightens round my throat I open my mouth And my head bursts open A sound like a tiger thrashing in the water Thrashing in the water Over and over We die one after the other Over and over We die one after the other One after the other One after the other One after the other One after the other It feels like a hundred years A hundred years A hundred years A hundred years A hundred years One hundred years!

I like Tribulation a lot. They are one of my favorite modern Death/Black/Gothic bands. 'Children of the night' is another solid CD/Album from them. Their cover of 'One Hundred Tears' (The Cure) is my favorite track on this CD for sure.

+Hargonaut As far as I know it is only featured on the new 7"-vinyl as a B-Side ("one hundred years" beeing A)...so the quallity of a capturing might not be that great if it makes it up here at all.

At 2* spead the genre turns into: Gothic black metal with a thrash influence. (It's a joke).

I've always wanted to hear a black metal version of this song... but this just didn't sound as angry or menacing as the original for me
