This was such a powerful scene, when they stack both Lalo's and Howard's lifeless bodies in the shallow grave, it hit me so differently

In breaking bad almost every main character got a death that felt somewhat deserved. Hank underestimated Walt his entire life which led to his downfall but he also grew as a person during the course of the show so he got to die as a hero. Gus and Hector murdered and ruined lives to build their businesses and they died knowing that they had lost all that they had been working for. Marco and Leonel were Marco and Leonel and they got to die painful deaths. Walt chose pursuing his own ego over his family and he got to die alone on a cold floor knowing that he had proved himself as intelligent but lost everyone that was once close to him. Drew Sharp was shot dead in the desert by the based and redpilled man Todd Alquist because Drew Sharp was a stupid child. In all seriousness though, the main reason this scene hits so hard for me is because of how cruel and unfair it feels. Howard was an honorable and hard working man and he died with his life and reputation ruined. He was thrown in an unmarked grave under the floor of a meth lab resting next to a cold blooded cartel murder.

Lalo was originally supposed to just be a standard villain, Tony Dalton brought the charm to the role and it worked too well to get rid of. Just the word play in this scene is so good. Lalo was saying gus didn't actually build a lab but his own grave and then ended up being him(lalo) buried there with howard. And he actually died and was buried at the place he desperately wanted to find out. But the bad assery of lalo is on another level. But did he make gus fring afraid of him?? Yeah he absolutely did. We have only seen gus with such emotion first when he met Hector and do iladio , then that last scream of him when he got exploded and now when lalo completely out-smarted fring's security and nearly killed him. He literally hunted him like a hunter😅 but missed. It's a big deal when fring is showing some emotions.

If i was gus fring then that last bloodied smile of lalo would haunt me for the rest of my life. This is like the signature style of death in this universe of brba and bcs Hank died like a bad ass telling walt that uncle jack made his mind 10 minutes earlier. Gus fring died adjusting his tie when his one side of face was completely gone. Walter white tied by staring at the ceiling and that baby blue song playing in the climax was so iconic. Nacho died like an absolute bad ass. And now lalo died with a freaking smile. They really make every death look like a big deal be it the character like gus fring or krazy 8. Lalo Salamanca for me is the best antagonist of this series and nacho Ignacio varga is my favourite character while the likes of gus fring, mike, jimmy keeping their consistency and we got to me arguably the best female character in the series kim wexler and the guy who died outtanowhere Howard. But the character of chuck was such a tease. He was an important character for the first season and hus intelligence was shown really highly which made me compare him with walter white. But if i loved breaking bad then i absolutely enjoyed this series and there is no way i didn't live brba. But one thing better call saul did better than breaking bad is that they made better characters using old one. Hector and gus to lalo Salamanca. Jimmy or saul goodman to chuck, howard and kim. Tuco to Ignacio varga. After this series is over i am gonna binge watch bith bcs and brba. And i am sure that won't take much longer than 1 weeks or 2 weeks at maximum. God i have written an essay right here😂. But what to do i love this series so much that i can write an entire book on my experience.
