I saw this band back in 1983 playing in the milky way in Amsterdam, I have an original tape from the gig but it's gone a bit stretched. My friend found this on the tube last year. How pleased I was to be listening again , shame vidio is a bit misty. I have also got a tape from around the same time at the same place of a band called Tribute in concert, does anyone know if this in on the tube, I would love to hear it as it was then as my tape has also gone stretchy.

I have never EVER heard a drum solo that can match this! The technique (his own!) and groove/lick. soul.speed, is second to none! The humming bird wing fills he is famous for, has never been repeated! Like Betty's hotpot recipe, he's taken this one to the grave! My upmost favourite, and inspiration, Pierre Moerlen! x

This is brilliant! I haven't seen such a perfect drummer before or after Pierre Moerlen. He inspired me to drum. Excellent!

Schade das Tribute so schnell aufhörte, für mich auch heute noch eines der Highlights meiner Live-Konzert Besuche.... :-(

Ich habe sie zwei Mal live sehen dürfen - einmal mit Pierre an den Drums (ein Set, bei dem die Tom-Kessel Richtung Publikum gezogen waren - also volles Pfund!!) - ein zweites Mal mit einem eigenen Drummer....einfach unfassbar, was diese Band damals auf die Bühne gebracht hat...in Zeiten von Grooves, Loops and Pattern ist das einfach fantastisch analog gewesen....habe selten so viele Instrumente auf einer Bühne zu Gesicht bekommen, die v.a. alle benutzt wurden .... also nix mit angeben, sondern definitiv unfassbar gute und vielseitige Musiker....fun-fact: alle bei Tribute trugen komplett weiß....nur Pierre hatte ein T-Shirt mit nem MickeyMouse Motiv an...Was waren das für Zeiten...Arbeite mich als Gitarrist immer noch sehr gerne mit dem einen oder anderen Solopart ab. ;-)
