Shubhanker Banerjee - Just his temperamant and the effortlessness with which he plays is just amazing Ut Zakir Hussain - Superb Laykaari and bold strokes...though he wasn't in full mood here I feel Pt Yogesh Samsi - incredible finesse, fine play of tabla...great Laykaari as usual Ut Akram Khan Saheb - His Tirakita at 33:32 outshines everyone's in nikaas and tonal quality...Best of Ajrada Gharana Pt Satyajit Talwalkar - Amazing tihai kaam... His father Pt. Suresh Ji's Laydaari reflects in his training... Ut Fazak Qureshi also played very well but I found others are playing much better than him...seemed a bit loose and strokes were not proper in speed and nikaas

Came across this video after a long time.....and with a heavy heart would like all tabla lovers to know that Pandit Subhankar Banerjee is no more. His soul has left for its heavenly abode on 25 August 2021 after fighting with Covid-19 . A huge loss to Indian Classical music. May his soul rest in peace 🙏🏻
