Practicing for so long, my wife used to watch him teach in his back yard when she was little. She'd line up with her friends and look over the back fence almost every day. According to her, the name "Canete" is almost synonymous with doce pares in Cebu.

studied some cacoy doce pares under john mac at their hq in cebu. back when cacoy was watching from the sidebench. always with a smile on his face. laughing as john threw me around^^ wonderful people! :)
