I've been finding my self coming back here about every month, still pissed off. I caught The Prodigy at what might be one of their last gigs ever. It was in Brisbane, Australia. It was a hot Aussie summer night and the whole crowd was a disgustingly awesome and sweaty mess. Like seriously, I don't think I've ever danced that hard and sweat as much. Then when they finished up, we all chanted for an encore for what seemed like ages. The stage was completely dark, so we didn't see them come back out on to the stage. Then, over the sounds of the crowd, we heard the beginning guitar part of Breathe and every one lost their shit. I swear to god, at that exact moment it just started pissing down with rain. Bucketing down. All the sweat got washed away, and the ground turned into a big muddy swamp as everyone just jumped around getting covered head to toe in mud. I haven't been to many concerts since then, nothing seems to come even close. I genuinely think that will be the best gig for the remainder of my life. I say that, because I think the only people who could have topped it are The Prodigy.

I keep coming back to this, years after first hearing it. Because it's brilliant. The arrangement, the performers, the recording, the visuals. As much as I love traditional classical, it will only survive through orchestras like this. I think it was the Royal Navy orchestra who tried to do a similar medley live but I thought it was awful, as it was too rooted in traditional arranging. This is young music being played by young people and with evident passion. THIS sound is the sound of future classical. Howlett and Flint would be proud and I hope you guys are still active, even though Covid hit when you were hitting your prime.

Prodigy was the first band that came to Belgrade, city under sanctions, just before the NATO bomb would drop on us.. They became a honourable citizens of Belgrade, and kept comming back year after year, bigger and bigger. We had a different kind of emotions for those guys. On the funeral there were a couple of fkags - UK, Prodigy ANT flag and Serbian flag. We will always miss you Keith, and what is done will never be forgotten by us. Thanks for this beautiful omage, tribute to a great artist, one of kind bend... WE MISS YOU KEITH. Belgrade. Serbia.
