I saw him perform in Chicago and met him. Very nice and personable man. This is a good tribute from different cds. There is a KZbin video of him playing with Norman Brown years ago on a song.

I had the pleasure of seeing him at the 2019 Capital JAZZ Fest in Maryland for the first time and his astronomical talent and showmanship was beautiful. He will be truly missed. I was looking forward to seeing him again.🥲

OMG! I am so saddened Nick was an absolute gem so kind friendly and engaging with his audience even after the show I have pictures I've taken with him and he never made us feel like we were a bother I will truly miss being serenaded buy his smooth guitar playing big and small indoor and outdoor venues I tell you my summer was not complete if I didn't see him well-dressed at a summer concert...
