Great video. I agree with all the comments too. Simply, we can’t have a country that we want anymore. It’s got to be a country for the rest of the world and the future decided by privileged wealthy people who have never done a day’s work in their lives. Bring back the pits.

Millions of tonnes of coal left underground, and were not allowed to dig it because of the carbon footprint, but we can import it from places like Mexico and Russia. We should be digging our own coal! Britain should be self sufficient again!

I think he was last man out on that afternoon shift from 2nd lev i was stood watching them come off cage as had brought last coal out on East side that afternoon Sad day

We were world leaders in developing clean coal technology ,no ! Let’s privatise it ,,let market forces dictate !result we have to import electricity from Belgium a month ago with very little spare surplus capacity from National grid ,Disgraceful,disgusting and shameful,!
