The unbelievable thing regarding Yekini in Portugal was that not one of the big 3 clubs signed him, Sporting under Robson was interested in him but didn't wanted to pay what Vitória was asking, then Robson left the club and a couple of months later he left Portugal to sign for Olympiakos. Another player the big 3 thought it wasn't good business to sign him was Hasselbaink at Boavista, then he went to Leeds and the rest is history. By the way Yekini and Chiquinho Conde (currente Mozambique coach) formed a great attacking duo at Vitória, they certainly devastated a couple of teams. This days would be impossible for a club like Vitoria to have Yekini or Sporting to keep Balakov or Figo during 4 or 5 seasons, not with the amount of money around foreign clubs this days.
