I think us, the ones who lost their loved ones (family member,lover or best friend) understand and love him the most bc most people dont understand the pain he had to went through. we still have people that support us but obito... obito had no one, not a single soul and he is a bright example what bottled up feelings does to a person. I hate when I see how easily anime or tv show or even book characters can move on after their loved ones die,they cry for like 2 episodes and thats it, they move on, and i hate it bc this is not true, this is not how it happens in real life, you can not move on, you can not just forget that person, you can not tolerate to that pain you feel but obito... that man is the most realistic one because the pain he had in his heart never recovered. people do not understand that obito didn't start the war for rin, he saw how unfair the world was after he literally watched his favorite person dying, he saw the unfairness, sadness, pain, desperateness and sorrow in this world, those are things he could not see before and he wanted to end it all, he wanted to change it and I dont care how it sounds, I would join him, if I had the power to see them in my life once more I would do anything. I don't think naruto is some cartoon for kids, kids can't even relate to what's being told coz they are simply too young to understand the essence of the story. Unlike Naruto most of us humans understand loneliness, love and rejection once we enter our 20s coz by that time we've lost someone most probably, we have been in a relationship and if not then what it is like to be alone. If you watched it as a kid you can't even remember those monologues and dialogues written exceptionally. It is so tough to dub something without losing its essence still they managed to make us cry in Eng too. I know how bizarre it is in my native language. It is like they simply translated it without giving any thought to the choice of words they make. And once you have seen it there is no suspense left int it for you to watch again and even if you want too. It is simply too big. There could be other animes which are masterpieces. But that doesn't change the fact that Naruto is a masterpiece. If it is not for you, you watched it too young. One of the shortcomings of Naruto is that kids start watching it since there is this notion across the world that it is a good cartoon for kids. They start watching it and it is ruined for them, forever. NARUTO ISN'T FOR KIDS.

Imma keep saying this till I’m blue in the face: Obito wasn’t just some Rin simp. He despaired over the worldly circumstances that necessitated Rin’s death, as well as all the other fucked up shit in the world. It wasn’t until Naruto fought against his pessimistic outlook...and won....that he realized that even taking everything he’s been thru into account... that he lost his way. Madara grooming him certainly didn’t do him any favors. But in the end he made sure to make it right, as much as he could after all the fucked up shit he did at least. Fuck I love this show.

I really like this AMV, but I feel like I need to address something to all the Obito haters. HE DIDN'T START THE WAR BECAUSE OF RIN. He stated this in the Kamui dimension when he was talking to Kakashi, where he says "If you think I started this war over just you and Rin, to call you misdirected would be an understatement!" I doubt that as a 30+ year old man he still loves Rin. At this point she is a dear friend he lost, and is a symbol of what he wants. A world where people don't have to lose their limbs or friends to protect their home, and where there would be no need for child soldiers such as themselves. With all the horrible crap that happened in his life, it's no wonder that he found salvation in creating a world with all the friends he lost. People will die in pursuit of that world, but they are necessary sacrifices, and they will be back in the infinite tsukunome. He's not a pedo who wants to bang Rin in this new world. But he is revived and his first wish is to save everyone but thanks to Madaras’ bitter manipulation he somehow ends up watching one of his ONLY friends kill the love of his life, the reason for him to move forward, and the one person he MOST wanted to protect was KILLED by the same person he respected most, which ended up finally calling him his TRUE friend, gave his very precious eye to & gave his last dying wish to (to PROTECT Rin).

He had no ‘life’ after being revived all he did was watch everyone suffer by HIMSELF. He was alone, always (obviously because of madara) but he never got to ‘grow up’ al he knew was Sadness and Sorrow, all he felt was Loneliness, &!all he faught against was Despair. We all know óbito was the hero who WAS GIVEN the wrong path but really he was just a boy struggling for everyone’s happiness at the cost of his own (2nd) life.
