Michael was my icon growing up. But the things that many sources, even him, claimed sounded a lot more extreme like when the stuff came up about his father beating the kids with sticks, or when even worse if one key was out of tune, he would punish them, harshly! That sent chills. Albeit, it was a way to make sure they were disciplined off the streets because some of us today don't know what it's like living in dangerous areas.
