I honestly think this tower is too expensive, but I must say it is rather fun to use. Besides! The tri cannon operators seem like such jolly fellows!

I feel the fire upgrade is even worse than it seems because it takes a fairly long tome to load the cannon with the fire ammunition, causing the cannon to effectively fire a shot less compared to when you don't have the fire upgrade. Nice video btw I was very hesistant about the tricannon, always felt it was either carrying the entire game or just straight up doing nothing. The bombardment upgrade being so strong compared to the tricannon explains these inconsistencies in my observations.

If you max out bombardment and dont upgrade the other side, bombardment goes off every 5 seconds or something like that. With the "improved formulas" upgrade, it gets pretty good. Imo. Btw im pretty sure that improved formulas doesn't affect flamespitter since it's not an explosion, correct me if Im wrong. (not that it matters if you find its still better). It does affect demon pit, tricannon, etc. So, if you're only using flamespitter as artillery, you are wasting an upgrade. Also, flamespitter is not always efficient. Sometimes, you think it's going to hit a bunch of guys in a line, and instead, it turns around and targets one guy further up the path. Tricannon would target the further up guy, as well as two others. Placement is also a lot more important for flamespitter, and not every map has a perfect spot for it. I know this will be an unpopular comment. Feel free to call me bad or whatever. It's just my opinion.

I hope they do balance updates again. The reason towers only have two abilities is they wanted to make each tower and ability special, but they still managed to make some of the abilities a nerf or otherwise near useless

You are absolutely right because you understand the mechanics of the tower and its abilities. Many don't catch it. Enjoy abusing :-] In addition to your information something can be tried for a spesific stage or wave: At a last waves (14-15), build a Tier4 Tricannon with only 3x Overheat ability (no Bombardment at all) to the begining (enemy spawnpoint) of the path in order to see how effective that burning True damage to Superarmored enemies while they were move entire path. It is about 1500 gold investment, after hitting couple times to main target(s) we sell the tower (90% efficiency with Upgrade means losing only 150 gold) than build a decent tower to backside.

This is another case where the time it takes to use the ability is important because the bombardment takes as long as 2 regular shots, which should be considered when looking at the efficiency. In this case for the final tier based on your estimates, the efficiency goes from 6.92 to 5.4 which is still well above 4 and is therefore a good ability but isn't quite as impressive as you make it out to be.

The high uptime of overheat (especially when fully upgraded) and the trigger animation significantly cut into the frequency of bombardment. Sometimes when overheat is fully upgraded, bombardment just won't occur at all. I'm not sure why in some cases bombardment can still occasionally trigger (as in this video at 9:15); it's probably got something to do with the relative timings/phases of the two abilities and the base attack. Upgrading both abilities is counterproductive and the base attack is weak so tricannon is quite bad.

The game is still relatively easy, even on impossible mode not using dragons.I had trouble with 2 maps.Need adjustments but funny to play. Still, 1st KR is the hardest one.We need to try without any updates on tree

I think your math is actually off here? AVG DMG is 33 per cannonball. So if all cannonballs hit 1 unit each, the DPS is 99*20 = 1980, which is your stated DPS for if the cannonballs hit three units each. All your efficiency calculations are 3* too low I believe.

I counted how many shots happened in one minute. So there COULD be mistakes in any of these videos.
