Very interested to see if they will continue and multiply on your homestead throughout the years to come.

That's awesome Chris! I'm hoping and praying for your family and homestead to flourish with blessings! I'm sorry to hear about your zucchini plants though. Correct me if I'm wrong when I ask this: was there another zucchini plant I noticed, that was to far gone and didn't make it? If thats the case, you may be able to dig up the dead plant carefully, and do an inspection/autopsy looking for root eating grubs, vine borers, or any other abnormalities that help you identify exactly what's causing the problem. If it's vine borer, inspect the main vine for any swollen spots or debris that are evidence of a border. Debris will look like little chewed brown bits, usually accumulated around a small hole. Sometimes you can find the spot where the grub is at before the plant dies, then extract the grub before it causes irreversible damage. With a little extra water, the plant will often heal up and continue to produce. Squash bugs can cause wilting and damage, but it would show up on the leaves as sucking damage, with yellow then browsing spots, plus it would typically take more then a dozen bugs to cause wilt on such a big plant. I'm guessing it's in the roots, or the main vine. If you wanna do an autopsy video, on the one that I thought it saw, that appeared already dead. I'll see if I can be of any help to you, just to make sure it's not a problem that spreads if left untreated.

I have used Trichogramma Wasps now for about 1 year also. I put in about 100,000 every month from March thru August, into my small orchard. The supplier puts them into paper dixie cups for me. I DO find them effective. I put them in basically to help control Codling moths. Doesn't completely control them, but helps a lot. I put a few cups, in each tree. I don't find that they fly particularly well, I sort of doubt that they will fly much from tree to tree. Better to hope that they do well in the tree that they are put in. My orchard, with quite a few apple trees, was pretty badly infected. Seems that in the last year, it is much better. Perhaps in another year I can wipe the problem out.

Did this method work out?

We did see the moth population go down and the following year we saw wasps. No scientific data but in my opinion they helped out!
