I had the privilege of attending this concert in person, and the experience was truly unique. Now, listening to the video through headphones, I can fully appreciate not only the intricate nuances of the brothers’ performance but also the incredible accompaniment by Vid. Patri Satishkumar. As someone commented, his mridangam seems to sing along with the brothers. Despite having just arrived from the U.S. that morning (the brothers told the audience at the end of the concert), Vid. Rajeev Mukundan showed no signs of jet lag and delivered a superb performance. Vid. Venkatraman, as always, was outstanding. It was also nice to see Vid. Trichur Mohan, father of the brothers, sitting in the front row and thoroughly enjoying the concert. What a family of great yet modest artists!

Remembering the younger days myself and my three sisters used to go to Rasika Ranjani Sabha கச்சேரிகள் ,Dance performances of Kamala Lakhman Deciple of வழுவூர் ராமையா பிள்ளை ,ல்லிதா பத்மினி ராகினி and drama play. We studied in Lady Sivaswamy Aiyar Girls High School opposite to Rasika Ranjani Sabha Mylapore. I am 83 years old with family music background. Lived in Mylapore after marriage in Delhi now settled in Bangalore practicing law. Listening to this Concert presently from my daughter’s house in Berkeley CA. My heartfelt thanks for announcing the Thambura artist along with the other artists. My repeated request about the inclusion of Thambura artist is finally heard and given effect to the list
