Tricia Walker: Ode to Billie Joe

On a joyous visit with a large group of La Trobe University (Melbourne, Australia) students to Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi we meet and we were entertained and informed by the delightful Tricia Walker. I love her version of the Bobbie Gentry classic "Ode to Billie Joe".

I know Tricia Walker from when she lived in Nashville. She is an incredibly respected and successful singer, songwriter and musician on Music Row and beyond and a wonderful human being. They don’t come any more talented than the great Tricia Walker. She was a member of the very first Women in the Round at The Bluebird Cafe. Thank you for sharing this video!

Show me the bands in Mississippi leave out the five minor chord, which is a beautiful change, I don't know why, I was listening to a group do it and I had to stop and say you're playing it completely wrong and losing the beauty of the song, put the five minor in the song or I'm calling the cops
