One thing I hated when I was pregnant was no one was able to tell me what a contraction felt like so I was so nervous because I didn’t know what to expect with it BUT one thing is when they say “you will know when you are having a contraction” GIRL they were NOT lyin. I went into labor at 39weeks exactly ! My water never broke but I had consistent contractions for HOURS (not very painful but my stomach would get super hard ) … and when I got to the hospital I was 6cm dilated .. I say this to say don’t ONLY look for your water to break as a sign that you are in labor… GOODLUCKKKKKK ❤️

As a Mom myself You will know when it's the Real deal. False contractions is normal it's your body preparing for the Real thing. If you get pain that comes back to back and last for more than a hour and gets worse that's something happening if it's just pain that you get and goes away and don't come back for a while that's Braxton Hicks. I'm a mom too. When I went into labor I was contracting but not dilating. And the Braxton Hicks stayed at the same pain it was the contractions that got worse

When it's time you'll definitely know but Braxton Hicks can definitely take a toll on you. I had them with my first born it wasn't that bad with him. With my 4th and 5th baby the Braxton Hicks felt exactly what you went through I saw myself watching you n felt that pain. I went to 40 weeks with all my kids but with my daughter the 40 weeks almost went to 41 that pressure was unbearable. I hope for a safe delivery tricia love you guys

One of the L&D nurses I had told me that a real contraction feels like your forehead and a Braxton hick will be like the tip of your nose. The day of my induction, I was having non stop real contractions so I went in early that morning. I was in active labor but my body wasn’t dilating so they still gave me medicine and then I ended up having a c section. I’ve been following your guys pregnancy from the start and I wish you guys nothing but love and happiness. She’s coming soon 💗

Yay.. this is good hunnie. If the pain is long it’s ok. U worry wen it goes away and comes back every 5 mins or so. Time the pains. Wen ur in pain time how long it lasts and how they return. If u notice a pattern ur probably in labour. If it’s pain that isn’t consistent it’s Braxton hicks…. All the best hunnie. It hurts but it’ll go away. Breathing helps. Walks help. You’ll be fine

Like everyone else is saying, it’s getting close and your body is preparing! You will definitely know when you feel the difference of a real contraction. For one of my children I was in active labor for 4 days. Everyone is different, when you experience the pain with child birth it helps a lot to control your breathing and mind over matter. For all my kiddos (5) I would put their “ go home” outfit in a chair or hang it up, just somewhere in plain sight so I could envision taking my baby home in it, that really helped out! So excited for you both, you will make amazing parents!

I have read and heard (but never experienced for myself) that when your water breaks it can either be a gush OR it can just be a trickle. If it’s truly your water I’m pretty sure it won’t stop coming out but if you’re peeing yourself it will stop eventually! Can’t wait for baby girl to be here!!! you know your body girl honestly if you ever feel a type of way don't hesitate to go to hospital jus to get checked as labour can come on rapidly, my baby boy seriously came out in his bag of waters no shit n that's rare lol. I had my son when was 17 am now 25 and My labor came in different I just felt like pooping from time to time and I thought I just had a running stomach .... Not knowing I was in labor and what made it funny is that my water started coming out like four days before my labor day I thought I was just urinating on my self and I didn't understand anything cause had no one to educate me its now that I understand what was happening... Mom bladder is a very real thing! Lol. You'll have that for the rest of your life. BUT when you go into active labor, it will hurt in your back more than your stomach. Sounds like your body is getting for labor. You'll experience pain in your pelvis and hips. And you'll feel nauseous. Always watch when you go to the restroom. This may be a little gross, but you're mucus plug will come out before your water breaks. And Kam is right. You should have your doctor check your dilation at every appointment until she is born. I am going to send up prayers for a happy and healthy labor and delivery for mama and baby. Kam you are going to be an amazing support person also...that was clear in this video. Also, I think night labor happens more because your body is more relaxed. I've been following you guys for so long, I am invested at this point lol. Wishing you the best! You both deserve it!!! P/S- I think you'll delivery soon. They always say the first baby is either two weeks early or two weeks late...and you have a small frame, so I don't think you'll go talk weeks late. Just my guess 😊

Tricia definitely sounds like Braxton Hicks. I Went Through That Braxton Hicks. I Was In So Much Pain, I Went to the hospital about three or four times in one week. I Was Two weeks overdue. So my contractions. It got really bad . I went to the hospital one more time..the nurse kept telling me I would probably go back home. But I had my first baby at 2:00 in the morning. They say Braxton hicks don’t hurt can’t really speak on that but for both of my babies I had Prodromal labor the week before they came. It’s very similar to labor and can be just as painful but they just don’t progress to anything and can be very sporadic. So excited for you both! Love the excitement in Kams face! Best thing you can do for Tricia is just be so supportive! Tell her frequently how amazing and badass she is while she’s in labor! My husband was the very best support while I was having my sons!! With my first baby I gave birth at 38 weeks, my water broke on a Saturday morning and I delivered that Sunday night. First delivery can take a little longer to dialate so don't worry if your water breaks. My second baby was at 39 weeks, my water didn't break before I went in labor. They had to break my water when I was around 7 or 8 cm dialated. 2nd delivery went a faster than first baby. Your going to do great Trisha! Best advice i can give you is during Contractions breath in through your nose and out through your mouth. Deep breaths. It releases tension and is impossible for the body to hold onto tension doing that. It will help put you in a "zen" state. Sending love and prayers to you both and babygirl 🙏💕
