sir, this method is like writing a number in the form of (a+b)³& solving with formula i.e. (a+b)³=a³+3a²b+3ab²+b³

At the end it would be better to say or explain with a+b whole cube formulae. i.e. (a+b)^3 = a^3 + 3a^2b + 3ab^2 + b^3
