In a recent interview, Trick Daddy revealed that he and T.I. were originally members of the group Boyz n da Hood alongside Jody Breeze and Lil Wayne. However, Jody Breeze expressed hesitation about joining the supergroup despite having previously collaborated with the artists. It was disclosed that Trick Daddy was brought on board but rejected the song that the group had been working on and instead opted to work on other songs in the album. Trick Daddy also shared that the group’s name was inspired by the N.W.A. song. Additionally, he stated Diddy played a significant role in grouping the artists. Trick Daddy also revealed he was instrumental to Young Jeezy's success; despite being initially unappreciated, he gave him a chance to shine. The rapper also lamented about past tensions when sensitive information was leaked to social media, suggesting that such discussions should remain private unless directly asked about.
