Trick Daddy says he's NOT African, he's AMERICAN! Was he WRONG for DELINEATING?

Technically he's wrong..but I can respect and understand his stance...the only tie to Africa we have is our ethnicity..but as far as culture we're more American than African...I've met a few people from Africa and every time I say I'm African American their next question is.."oh okay what county in Africa?" And then I feel dumb as hell😂...Us black Americans are so far removed from our African roots that your average FBA has no clue where their ethnicity truly comes from..which is sad when you think about it.

But that’s the thing tho, “Black American” IS our “ethnic group” lol. Black is just our race group. We’re all BLACK by technicality but you have different ethnic groups of black people
