God bless the preaching of his word...I am from Africa and I confirm this as true...During the period between August and November people who still follow the paths of darkness they perform rituals this time and this period is considered sacred in some culture...Bt the bible tells us that there is no other sacrifice greater than the sacrifice of the Son of God on the cross of calvary...

This year I decided to quit taking my kids on the streets trick or treating because of the drugs in the candy in this country I do let them carve a pumpkin I do dress them up however not as monsters and ghost happy things this year I plan on taking them to the race track for power wheels races and trick or treat there in a more controlled everment however I don't decorate I don't go to parties or any thing like that I'm not taking them out on Halloween day I'm going to work I'm not going out its on a Monday I don't celebrate Halloween like that because I beleave u r right it is eveal the only reason I let them do a pumpkin and trick or treat is simply for the activities and nothing more I notes Halloween gets more and more eval as rime goes on it is worse then it was when I was young
