Recently Cabin tutorial, was about something like that, but even more hardcore version of this. They do a hook from first mount by nth and the catch it by the same nth finger

To practice the second element more without having to do the first bit: get into a trapeze and brother mount and swing the yoyo to the other side, hitting the top string in the process. The swing the yoyo above your TH index finger, and youre in the intermediate mount.
