TRICKIEST COBRAS YET // GREAT FALLS WITH LOCAL KAELIN FRIEDENSON

Quick edit of learning to Cobra "The Notch" at Great Falls. Great Falls is the perfect stomping gourd to practice Downriver freestyle moves, stoked to be back and have Kaelin hand off all his local knowledge and freestyle tips from the last time I saw him. Feeling fired up to throw this somewhere big now.

Mate, are the Waka paddles hitting the market soon? My own paddle broke so I'm looking for a new one, and would like to give the Wakas a go before buying one. Cheers!

So kind of Kaelin to be your cameraman and help give feedback to improve your moves! I can think of worse places to practice that kind of move over and over again until it just works. The Great Falls of the Potomac bring back both very happy and very sad memories. My best friend Scott Bristow died there while kayaking almost exactly 25 years ago, but I also met lots of cool paddlers and got some fun runs in there as well.
