Michael, your explanation, approach and philosophy are something I feel are missing from our hobby. Not once did you brag about crazy name corals or how exclusive any of it is. Also the fact that you show you don't need a giant tank to be successful is superb. This is what I've been looking for in terms of content related to the hobby. Explanations of why and your thought-process are to me, priceless. Thank you for this. Beautiful setup. If you feel the need to continue count me in - I've subbed. Congrats and good luck.

Your approach to aqua scape follows the exact principles of design that I teach as a graphic designer, was great to see you use the same techniques! I also love the way you kept all sides of the tank clear to add a depth of field... also how you have many small fish rather than fewer large fish, makes it look more dramatic. Fantastic video can't wait to see more, thanks 👍

This was a really great video. There are not many people that discuss the concepts that you do for a feel tank. So many tanks look the same. One thing people really miss is the sense of scale. This tank looks huge until your hand comes into the frame. It would literally take me months to create something even close to this and I have been in the hobby for 20 years. I hope to see more about this tank and some of your other work. Keep it up.

Hello Michael. I am glad your video popped up in my KZbin feed. I have become a fan of your reef. I look forward to more of your videos. Your reef keeping practice is very similar to what I have been doing with mine. I utilize the Korallen Zucht, Zeobac system and since my nano reef only requires very little of K.Z. products I does those by hand daily. I also use Tropic Marin's All for Reef for primary parameters and trace elements. I would like to see a video of how and what you are dosing to your reef tank with. Utilizing glass pipes and such a simplistic approach with equipment just makes your corals stand out with out any distractions to the eye. Another question I had is what setting on your wave maker are you using to create the back and forth motion in your water flow?

Love to see people putting effort in aquascaping with reef, it's more complicated than freshwater (plants vs animals needs) and also .. simpler in a way. I live in Canada and unfortunately, I don't think I can create reef scape like this because of the amount of money it required to get good colony and I'm lacking of space, but it's a dream.. a dream :) How is the Chromis interaction? (ps: nice use of small fish) and do you use fish cover or you cross your finger? One day I will come to Australia, it's my ultimate objective (for the reason you probably already know :P, hopefully, sooner than.. too late(?) ) Wasn't aware you had a channel, good luck! You have what it needs :)
