Talent and skill, I love the vibes you put out with this one.
This is a really great brief music theory tutorial for people. I was a music major in college doing jazz improv and composition so I'm always experimenting with interesting chord progressions for my beats. I really like this beat, it's got a jazzy film noir style to it.

Yo Simon did you ever think about becoming a irl music teacher? You really have the enthusiasm and idk, teacher feel? Idk you’re just so nice to listen to and you’re really good in explaining short but oh so sweet what you’re doing. There aren’t many people I’d say I’d imagine having you as a teacher but I definitely imagine that with youz

Servida Music I'd appreciate that! I recently found out about your channel and your tutorials have been very helpful to me. Rock/ Heavy Metal guy here, exploring other genres. Really got into some Synthwave/Chill music stuff recently and got FL Studio. Your theory knowledge is awesome man. It's great to see an electronic musician who knows theory and how to apply it properly. You have inspired me quite a lot. Hell, I made a guitar riff out of a synth lead track I composed! 😂 If it weren't for you, my FL Studio journey wouldn't have started. Thank you so much and keep going ❤️

I’m a rock/alternative writer for my band, but even this rundown with chords is soooo helpful as I appreciate most genres and how they are made. I love this music so much and I hope one day I can be as intelligent as you will this shit. Also: some funky chords (that sound like they are meant for piano) on guitar are OUT OF THIS WORLD

What's up bro, new to the producer community, have seen/heard your name but this the first video KZbin algorithm has blessed me with. I've been missing out! Love the editing and the energy my g. But most importantly you just helped me get better with that suspended chord example. It clicked for me. Just happened to be working on some chord practice and that 30 seconds just improved my shit so much. Thank you and much success on the grind 🙏🏾

This is fucking interesting and useful at the same time wow ! Thanks a lot for sharing all your years of music theory and make it more accessible to peoples who just write melodies and stuff by feeling. It's always good to not do random things and think about " why not do this or this ? " like the suspended chords for example :D Thanks a lot for the video, I'm gonna use a lot of these tips in my next productions !
