You should see art. 343, it states Hindi(in devanagari script; 343(1)) and English(343(2) )are India's Official language, not national. Padh le bhai thoda, nahi to kahi bhi selection nahi hoga tera. All 22 recongnised languages hold equal importance in this country.

Adjournment motion is introduced to attract the attention of whole house towards a subject of public imp and it req a strength of 50 MPs to be introduced. Ex- Opposition tried to intorduce Adjournment motion on demonetization move but got rejected by the presiding officer. While attention calling motion can be introduced by only an individual MP to draw the attention of an individual MP or a minister or a group if ministers on a issue of public imp. Ex-let any fatal train accident took place.. So it will be issued against the railway minister. Or like in nirbhaya case it was issued against a grp of ministers.

Sir in the slide it is written , motion of thanks should be passed by the house else it means defeat of the govt but how it got defeated in the rajya sabha and not resulting in the defeat of the modi govt. Is it coz gov need majority only in lower house??

Very good effort but there is one mistake - you said no confidence motion is in the Constitution but it is not. It is mentioned in the rule book of Lok sabha I don't know u will see my message or not but i thought I should correct this And btw thanks for compiling all the motions at one place 🙂

Guys don't fight over a language.. One language is necessary to developed a nation, Russia, China, Japan, Germany are developed coz of their preference to their language. Although many people speak hindi in India therefore we are more focused on Hindi. One can express oneself best in their mother tongue and I think hindi should be promoted in every nook and corner of this country. People of Pakistan speak hindi this doesn't make them traitor. Fighting over language is not good. But we should promote one language if we want to supersede China, USA.
