This bit is a testament to the sturdy mountain folk who *dug too greedily and too deep* for their own good. I feel that Shattered Pixel Dungeon's quasi-lore greatly benefits from these themes and the weight of thought put behind them - it suddenly makes a lot of sense to say that Pixel Dungeon possibly takes place within a world from Dwarf Fortress. I have to say, I felt nostalgic when the original PD music was replaced by the new rendition, but I've come to appreciate the quality of these new works even more. Great stuff, Kristjan.

The first time i heard the new part of this soundtrack during the beta was when i was fighting, slightly underestimated the damage ghouls can do (as usual) and it played AT THE EXACT MOMENT the ankh revive screen showed up I was absolutely convinced thats when it's supposed to play, but then i realised it just plays randomly Anyways this makes the experience of walking around the city in +3 mail armour with 2 healing potions and hopelessly running from all enemies with the teleport seeds and scrolls SO much better This is the best update, i was waiting for the videos from the second i saw that there are new soundtracks
