I remember, in English Together (Oxford) workbooks published in the late 2000th, there was only one example of responding to a tag question and it wasn't even on the rule section, but in one of the exercises which could easily be missed. Until this day, I wasn't sure how to respond to these questions xD

It took me a long time to correctly answer someone's question on "do/would you mind ... if?". Good thing to learn was to see a native speaker's facial expression in assuming my answer after I became silent and didn't know what to say; this was not easy moment if he or she needs to sit down on a public bench or want to cut a waiting line for reasonable cause. wow i thought i knew this one for sure but stayed w the lesson for adam's lessons are gems nmw and now i know i totally didn't know!😸🙈 i would def answer "yep, not a fan"(affirmative, answering the first part which i thought was the question itself whereas the other one, i thought, existed to make the question, that is an undercover statement, sound more familiar so as to ascertain if what one stated is correct) to a question "you don't like pizza, do u?' and simply "nope" to the "you do love pizza, don't you?"(as in "sorry, bud, this one is actually not my cup of tea but i know many ppl like it tho")🙈 i guess i am a bit disappointed by english being less consistent than i thought😸🙈maybe i need to c this first chapter again just to make sure i got it right 🙈
