Nice blog! Btw, your card lift when u look at your cards is quite high. It's likely that in certain seats that an opponent may be able to see your cards.

KQ with the nut diamond draw, putting in a big raise on the river with the nut blocker is printing money with a weak bet and weak call.

That's such a good idea. I didn't realize till I was editing but MP's 26 dollar bet on the river was TINY in relation to the pot. I appreciate the advice Doug! Hope all is well!

@@ESPPoker just started watching. You need to read, study more cuz you’re really bad. 34 vlogs/+1100, that’s like $34/sesh. I’m guessing some of the good hands you raised with, more experienced player would be raking the pot. And Doug is right, aggression for most part gets paid off, even when don’t smash flop after raise. Watch some of Doug YT, very consistent in terms of aggression, and type of player he looks to isolate.

Hey my man your vlog is clean, but there’s still room to better your play. Few observations I made first your pair of 10s on a A1033x board you did check back the river however you said there is value to be had. There was indeed no value to be had, any ace calls you, you chop with any ten, worst folds. You should either check or go huge in hopes to make him fold low aces and 10s. Second your KQhh hand you open he 3bets in position (3x) to 45, folding is weak especially against an agro. His range is wild especially in position ( throwing it there cause you mentioned I should probably fold). In the moment, if you’re confortable enough in your play I was thinking of a 4bet bluff. Its a beautiful hand that connects well. Now on the flop you had an inside straight draw and to overs to the ten. While there’s an ace on the board you should not always give him credit for it by folding on the fist street especially with your draw. Folding the turn if he keeps barrelling is fine. Last hand now, when villain micro best turn and blast river you should really be asking yourself what’s he’s representing with that line. I forgot the board while writing my comment, although I remember villains line didn’t make any sense and you had AK which was a good bluff catcher. To end it on a good note you’re doing great in your results so far and I hope this brought you insight to do even better. Following,

St 7:45 when u talk about folding KQhh pre to a 3-bet and instead making the call, i think you should be putting in a 4-bet a large portion of the time against this particular opponent. Obviously blocking AK, KK, and QQ, plus added equity with suited verities. If hes really playing every hand and playing wildly, punish him. 4-bets in 1/3 already look extremely strong, and you’d have range advantage on the flop.

You are definitely right. One other player at the table 4 bet him with like A7 offsuit to take it down preflop. This reminds me of my episode 28 where I needed to be more aggressive against a loose player to my right. I appreciate the advice!

@@ESPPoker i feel like you are being very GTO oriented about making the right theoretical play, which is good for the higher stakes but not for 1/2 or 1/3. Not even 2/5 really. But you seem like smart enoigh player to know you need to play exploitatively, and im excited tk see your improvement in the next vlog. Also, raise larger on preflop opens to thin the field more. Punish people for calling with bad hands. You got this 👍

KQ off hand you can bluff there. Kd blocker, if you think the original bettor has nothing, the caller is typically weak there.

You seem to play abc poker. You seem to know what is happening around you but you’re not taking advantage of the info. You missed a bluff spot with KdQx. You also missed another bluff spot with the maniac with AK and perhaps with his QJ off hand. Sometimes you need to look up the maniac when your radar or intuition is going off and sometimes you need to play back when you’ve given yourself range advantage. Was this a 1/3 game? 15$ raise would be a big open in 1/3 and yet you’re still seeing multi way flops. Additionally you need to adjust to the flow of the game and make bigger preflop raises to punish the stations! It’s good to be deceptive through consistent bet sizing (gto style) but you don’t want to drive the action, called multi way, and not take the pots down which requires larger raises to isolate the shit calls pre and add more pressure to garbange hands post flop by betting. A6 should be punished for calling down and feeling the betting pressure of looking like a muppet for playing that trash preflop. Good luck.

Hello! Thank you for the constructive feedback I really appreciate it! As you pointed out not taking advantage of certain spots is definitely a weak point of mine. This was certainly an interesting game with a lot of LOOSE players. I am working on finishing editing two vlogs right now that I hope to have out soon that I think I played a little better in, and definitely going to work on taking advantage of certain spots (especially spots where bluffing is a good option) in the future! Also, do you ever get up from the table when your not enjoying playing or feeling like you’re not playing well. Check out box breath work-4 count in through your nose into diaphragm, 4 sec hold, and 4 seconds out your nose. Good to alleviate stress, anxiety, and keep calm. I played for a living for 5 years but totally burned out of the game. I was obsessive when I played, never got up from table, played way too long and eventually got sick of playing. After a decade off, I’m becoming interested again, learning some got, and would apply some of the breath work and time off from playing should I ever attempt to play again. Good luck.

@@NPD2024 I do! I appreciate the advice, yea usually if I am frustrated or card dead. I like to get up and just walk around for 5-10 minutes and reset. It usually helps me calm down. When you get back on the felt let me know how it goes!
