I dare say TrickyNick that this may be one of your finest, so very well done, truly. Thank you, I keep an eye out for any and all of your readings. I highly recommend for anyone reading this comment Nicks rendition of “The Mildenhall Treasure” and “The Hitchhiker”, both are excellent.

Hi again, gosh how kind. Thank you. There are a few little bits in the pipeline that will be out soon. Audio word, but a bit different this time and may not be of wide appeal. All in connection with British canals and narrow boating. And then maybe another Dahl or PGW. Cheers Nick

Although I was studying Plant sciences in the university 20 years back, I couldn't keep myself away from PG Wodehouse and would inadvertently find myself digging for his books in the English literature section in the library book shelves... Your reading is such a treat! 🇵🇰Best wishes 🇵🇰

Thanks Nick for yet another brilliant performance of several , very differing characters 👍 It’s been a very pleasant change for me, having been hooked on visual video’s which is obviously a strain on the eyes. I can now have comfortable pleasure. moving around the house whilst listening thru my Bluetooth earphones 😁👍 Re the tip I added to your video of THE HITCHHIKER....Are you able to attach the same TIP to all your masterpieces so they they have no need to end up wandering around KZbin? Nick sometimes goes a bit nuts with pronunciations. For example "timbre". It's not pronounce "Tam bray" - possibly an attempt to give it a Frenchy fillip. Not a successful effort, Nick. Try "TAM brr". Somewhat closer. I also find the laboured way Nick reads Bertie's part - at a snail's pace and very deliberately, a wee bit...tooth gritting.
@Trickynickymarts Жыл бұрын
Jude, I thought you had long given up on these stories - understandable with all that tooth gritting going on! However, always nice to have you along - and your corrections. If timbre should turn up again, I now know the way!

And it’s just exactly that that I love: slower than other narrators and therefore calmer in this fast world… My favourite narrator by far and in actual fact the only one I can listen to these days - I find the others too flustering and hard to follow…. Each to his own I guess…
