So this is how i feel. You HAVE to complete the eeveelution cycle which means normal evolutions for all types... then i think the best way to do it is give normal eevee a mega OR (what i would prefer) give normal eevee a two stage evo + a mega. But you can't NOT have the eeveelutions not be finished for all the types. Also #Teamumbreon

I really hope the dragon one comes soon as it would be a-maze-sing! and for ability I would choose "Contrary" cause I sooo want to see a contrary Draco Meteor and this eeve would be like the ultimate draco-cutie! it's cuteness would be over 9000 and it would blow you to the stars and become stronger while doing so! Another possibility would be an Arzeus eeve but that would be like the megaevolution of the normal eeve and the typing would be determined by the field where it's battling (a little like castform) that would be incredible.

Because I feel that if they got mega evolutions, then it would not be quite balanced anymore. I mean, sure the megas that we have now are crazy OP but at the same time, I feel like the eeveelutions need to stay as just the eeveelutions that they are (but they need to have one of every type. You can't call yourself an evolution pokemon if you don't have all the type evolutions). IDK maybe I'm being too much of stickler.

Eevee is a gimmick pokemon. Here's why. The first gen the eeveelutions represented the three legendary birds and it's explained in the manga more. Moltres and Flareon, Zapdos and Jolteon, and Vaporeon and Articuno (which was changed into ice late into development). But come gen 2, when they introduced day night cycles, they made an eeveelution for both. Gen 4 comes out, and they introduce seasonal cycles, so Espeon of the day represents spring as the days get longer, and umbreon of the night represents autumn as the nights get longer, and they slap in a grass eevee for summer and an ice eevee for winter. Now in Gen 6 with the introduction of fairies, Sylveon. No fancy backstory, just boom, fairy eevee. Nintendo uses Eeveelutions to show off the new mechanics. If they were going to make megas, they'd have done it in Gen 6.

+Metrion77 They also made the legendary dogs from 2nd gen have some back story pointing to Eeveelutions. I don't believe there is any correlation between the 1st gen Legendary birds and the first three Eeveelutions though, and the seasonal cycles was a Deerling and Sawsbuck thing from 5th gen. Not 4th. Glaceon and Leafeon's gimmick is that they're Eeveelutions, it's a selling point in itself. They don't need to show off another mechanic with them every time. Umbreon and Espeon were without a doubt used to show off the day/night cycle though and Sylveon was sort of a gimmick in that sure, it's the new type but Fairy was it's own gimmick because advertised as the "dragon slayers". Mega Evolutions are also gimmicks and seem to be given mostly to Pokemon that are already in the top percentage needlessly boosting their strength as well as showing off awesome new evolutions to legendaries and starter Pokemon in a way that doesn't break everything entirely. They pandered to gen one fans using Mega Charizard and Mewtwo, they pandered to Dragon type fans with Mega Garchomp and Salamence. Come next games, they will probably announce even more Mega evolutions. That's not to say it will be Eeveelution megas. But you can't rule anything out after seeing Mega Beedrill and no mega Butterfree. We also got Mega Blaziken a game before the other two Hoenn starter Megas. Pretty much I'm just saying there is no point in them blowing their load of mega evolutions day one and instead, wait it out and last a while, sending out a few here and there with each instalment. That makes the hype last the longest and keeps people interested when they keep hearing "omg new mega evolutions in the newent corocoro leaks!". :3

Metrion77 That is a manga though and if the manga to game comparison has told us anything, it's that they are not the same thing. What happens in the mangas and in the anime do not coincide with the games. Eevee is said to have unstable genes. Causing it to rapidly undergo a form of evolution based on it's surroundings. Which some people could relate that to Mew and/or Ditto. But that's in the anime. As for the games, there is no correlation to anything. It is Eevee, it's a gimmick because it's made to be cute and it's evolutions cater to different people for each one.

I want a Steel-Type Eeveelution. It could be Auroreon (Aurorum is gold) The Gold Pokémon. It evolved due to falling into a mine where it was surrounded with minecarts full of gold. It believes its trainer abandoned it for not evolving, so it hides in those mines and pounces on trainers who are searching for new Pokémon, often stealing food.

Before Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon were introduced, I came up with a fighting type Eeveelution, but I didn't come up with a name for it until just after Leafeon and Glaceon were introduced. Great video Tricky :D Honestly Sylveon being the only Eeveelution that hasn't been introduced in a pair/trio(gen 1) further backs up the theory of Pokemon Z being the next game. Notice how Sylveon is the only eeveelution that is by itself in a generation this has never happened before also note the fact that there are 72 known Pokemon (73 if Magiana is a sixth gen Pokemon) in Kalos. The least amount of Pokemon introduced in a region. What if the other half of the Kalos pokemon will be introduced in Z along with Sylveon's partner (Draceon, Toxiceon, Metaleon, Judeon).

I have a cool idea - there could be a new type of mega stone, which can mega evolve any eeveelution. Each eeveelution would have a symbol or small indication of their typing, but apart from that, they should be white but majestic looking. I like this idea. :) I really want a steel type eeveelution, a poison type, a ground type and a flying type... I don't know, maybe a bug type would be cool... Being a bug eeveelution fan, I would love more evolutions and megas. Although I put more evolutions above megas- I would rather have a complete set of eevee evolutions, from bug to dragon. Then it would be cool if each new game had a new set of megas, starting from the oldest eeveelutions and then ending at the youngest. This could take place from as little as two games to as much as the amount of sets of eeveelutions. (ex- jolt/vap/flare would be one set, glac/leaf another, and so forth. Sylveon would be in whichever set is next, or it would have to be a heck of a good mega to stand on its own)

I would LOVE new eeveelutions because the concept and idea of one pokemon being able to become so many different pokemon is basically what all the pokemon games are about. There are so many different things you can do, and eevee can represent all the different ways to play pokemon. Also, I wouldn't want a mega for each eeveelution individually because that would just get, well... overcrowded? there would be too many (i can't believe i said that), but what would be cool is a mega eevee. An unevolved eevee getting its own mega. OR have all the eeveelutions have the SAME mega. The eeveelutions all center around their origin, eevee, so maybe their final form can also bring them all back together! I just really want more eevees. Ghost + flying are my top choices, but steel and dragon would be nice. I'm rly upset that Sylveon didn't come along with a dragon companion because in my eyes, fairy and dragon are a pretty good pair to be put together, like psychic and dark were. But despite that, Sylveon is my favorite eeveelution because the pokedex entry states that it wraps its ribbons around its trainer's hand and it's just TOO CUTE

I think a rather clever idea for eeveelution megaevolution is to allow all of the eeveelutions to megaevolve in to the same pokemon which has protean so its type changes with each move used

Fu fact! I've gotten to talk to some of the people who work with Pokemon, and I asked what the next eeveelution will be, which they said (if I remember correctly,) was A flying or fighting type. I also asked if they would get mega evolutions, and they said If you had the entire eeveelution team, you most likely would have a strong enough team to not need one. One of them also stated that Sylveon doesn't need anymore bows.

I would want both and my 5 most requested eeveelutions would be: 5. normal because just to be honest, eevee just being normal isn't enough for me. 4. Poison because a poison eeveelution sounds amazing! 3. Bug because I think it would be like a bee, moth, beetle fox! 2. Dragon because it would be so graceful and elegant with a wide wingspan and dark blue flames. 1. Flying because again it would be elegant but super fluffy!

If they do get megas and second types, then I want: Jolteon: electric and bug - according to pokedex entries, it's fur becomes needles to shoot at opponents. Pin missile is the move that it uses when it's fur becomes needles to shoot at opponents. Pin missile is bug type. Vaporeon: water and dragon - Vaporeon just looks like a sea dragon Flareon: fire Espeon: psychic and fire - think about it. Espeon is the SUN pokemon. The sun is a ball of fire. Umbreon: dark and poison - same reason as Tricky Glaceon: ice and rock - the reason I want glaceon to a rock type is because I want glaceon to have diamonds all over her body. It would look so cool and would make her seem more beautiful. Leafeon: grass and fairy - leafeon should have a flower on her design cuz it would look amazing. And which pokemon is literally a flower? Florges. And what type is she? A fairy type. Sylveon: fairy and flying - I don't think that sylveon should change her design. It's amazing! And already really complex. Adding more would a little too much. So lets just give sylveon really beautiful butterfly wings!

When I heard about a new eeveelution was a fairy and after finding out more about the fairy types I was really hoping to have a dragon eevee evolution to go along with it! Like Scaleon or something like idk lol.

I think there should be a a new eevee evolution for the Normal type would be cool, but the best part would be that the Normal type is the only one that can mega evolve.

I'm not completely opposed to Megas, but I feel they need to have an Eevee for every type instead, as Megas of the present Eeveelutions would feel more like a cop-out. 5. Rock 4. Bug 3. Steel 2. Fighting 1. Ghost (Favorite Type Bias)

They should make all types of eevee evolutions then they should power them up with a mega evolution. I don't really mind them adding a extra type to them but if they stayed original that would make them more valuable to me. Let me know if you agree.

But eevee is genetically unstable, so it's not that difficult for it to have some kind of reaction to a Mega stone. And where does it say it HAS to be a final evolution?
