A lot of people on my Patreon seemed to think I'd dig this, so I'm checking out Trident for the first time. This is their song SPOOPY.

Second favorite japanese band right after Band-Maid... I love TRiDENT, especially Nagisa, she is an awesome drummer and i am happy they replaced JUNNA with her!

I was so happy to see one of my fav reactors. React to Trident. Now my all time favorite reacts. I could never understand why you all avoided them. They are so good. Check out their older stuff when Junna was a member of the band. Nagisa is just as good. But I think you will enjoy songs with both drummers. Thanks for making my day.

They have been my second favorite band behind...of course Band-Maid. I have been following them since their Girls Rock Band Kakumei days with Junna. Awesome band. Asaka has really improved her playing and vocals since their GRBK days as well, which have really lifted the band to a new level.

You NEED to check out Hanabie. I'm a big metalcore-head, and Yukina, Matsuri, Hettsu and Chika are all insanely talented

@@FreshSqueezedLightning Hanabie is pretty cool. I also like Nemophila and Baby-Metal, but to be honest I think I am more of a fan of hard rock over metal. Hence, my preference. Do you have any specific Hanabie song you'd suggest? I'm down to getting more familiar with them.

@@ichichu If you're more into hard rock over metal, I'd probably recommend their song they literally dropped less than 24 hours ago, called "Girl's Talk". I'd also check out "Pardon Me, I Have to Go Now" That song blends the metal world with a lot of others. I also absolutely love "We Love Sweets" and "Reiwa Dating Apps Generation". They're more metalcore, but they're great imo. Those last 3 are my favorites

Champ - Asaka hit a G5 note . . pretty f-ing high. (For reference: Asami's go-to high note is an A6, although I've heard her hit an A#6 on one song - don't remember which one) They've technically been together for 9 years. They Started out as 'Girls Rock Bank Kakumei' (known as GRBK), but re-named after they changed drummers in 2020. The original drummer was Junna - internet Famous for her Through the Fire and Flames drum Cover. I like them a little better with Nagisa, and Asaka's songwriting has improved quite a bit. Bass player Serina is a Beast (Nasty in your terminology🙂), and does a lot of the Lead work on her Bass while Asaka plays rhythm.

Was not expecting you to react to that band. Definitely not a "clicker" band, but a band I got on my radar, and I like them. Great that you go for some of those more hidden bands. Kudos for doing that. Keep up with great job & stay safe out there.

I’m hoping someone mentioned the Gaku Taura tie up - he produced this and Hanabie’s album. I like this too. I think it pulled them in a more cohesive direction with that touch of madness binding the Kawaii and the hard stuff together better than before. Trident. Three. It’s a three piece. The clue was in the name. 😜 Sorry. 😬

Amazing reaction my friend Champ!!....In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just It was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coach, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 and 5 years have passed since then, but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you...You have to be prepared because you ar going to receive an avalanche of views, comments and new subscribers....I leave you one more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....kzbin.info/www/bejne/mHW7ZHmeot6Bl8U

Yes....found TRiDENT on my way to finding BAND-MAID.. They are a cracking trio. Rock with pop elements...some fun videos as well...Also hoping Japan sorts it Covid restrictions..as I have a reserved ticket to see BAND-MAID in Tokyo in Jan.....I have never traveled alone before..anywhere. And have never arranged a trip of this kind either..So have no idea where to start. I know the UK is said to not need a VISA to enter Japan..but I don't believe thats true right now...It seems everyone needs one..and I have no idea how to go about getting one.

@@Bodneyblue Believe it or not I am travelling on my own too and it will be my first time. I have tickets lined up for Trident & Hagane and am trying to get Fategear and Saiseiga tickets and any more gigs that come up. At the moment Japan will not let any independent travellers in from anywhere, hoping the rules change by end of October. I was planning to be there for 5 weeks over July and August (now) and I am gutted at all the live music I am missing 😓(Passcode, Unlucky Morpheus and many other fantastic bands).

@@johnholdsworth7879 Man!..what a bummer!....Sounds like it would have been a once in a lifetime experience....Covid has really messed up so much for everyone it's been totally cruel...I still have not made up my mind if I am just going for the concert or to make a trip of it and visit few places... like Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima...Certainly a few places in Toyko I want to visit..But I have been suffering from depression since losing my partner to cancer...and BAND-MAID has been the light in my darkness..so seeing them in Japan would be such a boost. But I am fighting my depression and useslessness as well as the red tape needed to get to Japan that I suspect I will not get there...I've been very much interested in Japan since losing my partner..I started watching the Japanese channel here, as the shows help me mentally to stay calm and now have a real urge to visit Japan..And then found BAND-MAID and that urge to go has increased...I watch many YT videos on Japan...especially those that are POV travel videos...no talking..just walking about the streets as if you are there or views from trains or cars etc..I find them calming and interesting...seeing the shops, scenery etc..just everyday life...But I really have no idea how to organise a trip..and lack of confidence I feel will put pay to my hope of getting there....As it is ..I hope your trip is an awesome one!...sounds such fun..but tiring...Hope you have plenty of room in your luggage for all the merch and goodies as Japan looks other worldly for shopping..sooooooo much to see.

@@Bodneyblue If you live in the US try to find someplace close where you can go see Band Maid this October if you can't get to Japan. Nemophila is playing Sacramento in October as well, and will hopefully get a larger tour booked before they come. I have tickets for Band Maid in Houston in October (about 25 miles from my house) and they are playing Dallas the show before it. You could drive or even fly to one or two Band Maid shows in the US for a lot less than the Japan trip would cost. (Not as cool or nearly as good as the Japan trip, but better than missing the Maids altogether)

@@Patrick_H. Thank you Patrick..but I am in the UK...Scotland to be percise...I was thinking of trying to get to the US...but I am suffering from depression and I get anxious and kind of panicky...I have found things tough going since losing my partner to cancer and have been very low..Stupidly I enter the BAND-MAID lottery for a ticket to the Garden Theater concert in Tokyo...I really didn't expect to win.....but I did...And so really would like to get to Japan...but with the way things are regards covid restrictions and my lack of expericrence of booking such a trip..I am at a loss. I know I should try as it will I hope give me a confidence boost which I could so do with.
