If you wanna go natural. ..do a final wash with a harsh shampoo and then use jojoba oil and sweet almond oil as stylers and if you want definition use flax seeds gel..These are all natural and affordable and will relieve you hair from products and you can just use warm water to wash them off no need to shampoo every time but you might need to shampoo at least once a month so your hair won't be weighed down

I really like how your hair came out! I try styling with an in-shower curl cream, then scrunchig raw unrefined coconut oil in, followed by gel and a plop! It works very nicely on my 3a hair!

Oooo what in shower curl cream do you use?? Would love to give that a try!

@@ItsRimi I've used Cantu Coconut Curling Cream for a year now! I've had a hard time justifying high prices of most curl stylers and Cantu is always so cost friendly. My hair is super long like yours and it takes so much product to keep it beautiful and healthy!

Ok third time in the past month I have heard this about the comb vs brush. Going back to my Denman. It’s a good feeling getting away from product once in a while, it’s a clean feeling.Your hair turned out very beautiful!

Hairstylist here, 13 years. I always use a brush on my curly hair and on my clients to detangle the hair. The bristles flex so there is less breakage when detangling gently. The teeth on a comb do not flex, it also isn’t as good at getting those tiny fairy knots out of your hair.

This is the most beautiful hair I ever saw

I think it still came out very nice. You are so beautiful and I love your hair! When I only use oil myself it's a no no. However, i love applying it after cream or a leave in to set the products in my hair.

Weird! I was just looking at my collection of oils and wondering about using them together. I think I need to buy a clarifying shampoo though. My hair is being a funky monkey right now. I'm thinking if you finger coiled after the oils you may get more definition too. But your hair looks gorgeous. You know that scripture about a woman's hair being her glory? I'm pretty sure it has your picture for reference. (ie: See Rimi). 😁 You are HAIR GOALS. I'll try this for funsies. 💖💖💖

Why would you detangle when it’s dry 🤷🏽♀️ it’s almost painless when it’s wet and soaked with conditioner
@blackgothgoddess31643 жыл бұрын
I detangle dry if my hair is full of oils. I finger detangle first and then use a wooden brush or wooden comb to get what's left. I don't really use leave in products except for oils now. Makes my hair easier to manage. But everyone is different.

I have combination hair. It's long (a bit below the bra strap line) thick but I have fine hair. In some areas its wavy, really curly or loose spirals. I find oils (castor oil or coconut oil alone) too heavy for my hair. But when I use a cream with coconut oil or other oils...it works really well.

I was always under the impression that one should avoid combing curly hair when dry. At least according to Penny Tovar and Manes by Mell, but I guess to each her own! I love using oils in my hair for both pre-pooing and touch ups in between wash days!
@ItsRimi4 жыл бұрын
Different methods work for different people. Some hair types can definitely handle wet detangling but my hair is very fine so it breaks if I do it that way :/ but yesss oils are the best! 😊

@@ItsRimi my hair is super fine too and I’m noticing more and more breakage probably from wet detangling, I should try dry/damp detangling with some oil in

I really LIKED the “different textures” in your hair! The “defined curly”, the “brushed out - full”; etc. They add interest! I totally agree with you, to leave the oil off your roots, to preserve fulness!! Such an erotic look, your final look!! So appealing!! So pretty, and luxurious!! Your hair, your curl, your hairstyle are an eye grabber! I do hope you keep posting; I love seeing you on here!
