The parfum is much smoother and doesn't have that sticky flint note. I love the orange on the opening with the EDT but the burnt earth carbon smell is a bit gimmicky. I think the EDP fixed this but I've tested the EDT and parfum. I love the parfum but wish the citrus lasted longer and the heat makes the vetiver really strong. It could use more balance.

TDH is that fragrance you don't like, you sell it, you smell it 3 years later and wish you didn't sell it. A lot of earthy scents are like that, but certainly it isn't for everyone, most of my favorite scents are those kinds, I think they smell distinguished and interesting.

i used to work in oil drilling and spent couple of years in Siberia. Used some EDT that smelled really strong. 1 guy always said I smelled like a French hooker. I just like perfumes but I do not like to smell all over the place. I bought Terre d'Hermes aftershave. But I read EDT version is the best so I bought that yesterday. Not sure yet. I hardly smell it on myself. I have this test bottle Guerlain EDT (L'Homme Ideal) and that is really strong. I like it but makes you smell like a woman imo. I used to have Aqua de Gio but was tired of it. Seems this Terre D'Hermes EDT smells nicer once it is on my skin
