We can see regressive scenes in the biggest blockbuster of recent time, Baahubali too. In the first part we see Prabhas continuously pursue Tamanna even after she says no and is clearly uncomfortable. In addition, he even rips her clothes n touches inappropriately while it's evident that she is very uncomfortable. Astonishingly the scene was celebrated by the masses.

Jammy, you are one of the very few Indian men who see the misogyny for what it is. I have seen so many comments from Indian men who defend these mindsets. I can't believe that Indian women from the olden days thought it was okay to act in such regressive movies. Unfortunately, the list is a lot longer than the ones you've mentioned in this video and it's a sad mirror of the Indian society. Nonetheless, being from the same society and being a man, you still think about how oppressive towards women most of these films were and I'm so proud and so glad to know that people like you exist.
