I think One two ka four can be given benefit of doubt here. If I remember the story correctly, Juhi Chawla was an undercover cop. This would explain why she didn't react appropriately to the slap. She wanted to stay undercover and hence acted the way some ordinary Indian woman from 90s would react in the situation.

Rahul is a guy that was sure which kind of girl he wanted at the beginning, when Tina comes he falls for her beauty cz he told he want a girl that is too beautiful. on the other hand Anjali falls in love with Rahul. before Rahul and his daughter arrives her mom asks her "do you love Aman so she replies I have fallen in love once, and I can't fall twice.. on the other hand Rahul sees Anjali in her beauty he realises how much he wants her in his life... and while playing when Anjali asks Anjali he replies Sharma, not Khanna. which shows how much he was missing his best friend whom he actually loved but dint realises.. tina was selfish so she dint tell Rahul about Anjali, later she regrets... on the other side Aman is saved to marry a girl that never loved him, she was sooo awkward around him. Anjali got a love that was her always... and Rahul had no role here...
